No limit, I encourage you to scav as much as possible. Extracting as a scav gives you 0.01 fence rep, the higher rep you have with fence the better your scav kit will be, the better items you'll get, ect.

Those two websites are great for new players.

The eft ammo website shows you all ammo stats, damage, penetration, armor damage, ballistics, ect all neatly tied together, the map genie shows you most of the maps for free with spawn locations, loot locations, quest locations.

Also I encourage you to occasionally splurge on a kit every now and again, dont be scared to loose something because you think its good, you'll lose it either way when the wipe ends. Might as well pass the loot down to somebody else or use it to get even more loot. Dont cripple yourself to bad weapons or gear because you fear using the good things

It's not unusual for you to die a lot in PVP as a new player, it's important not to let this get to you and keep improving. Positioning is really important so I suggest you watch a guide about this and practice hitting shots without ADS, use flashlights to blind your enemy and make it harder for them to see your head.

Some good poverty options are the Mosin Nagants from parpor 1, high damage, 40 pen (able to go through level 4 armors), the PPSH from prapor 1 has 71 rounders, the SKS (If you have T-45M or PS) is very good, The TOZ-106 is slept on from Jaeger or Skier, and the VPO 209 with EKO rounds (gun from skier, ammo from Jaeger) is very good

Well, it is a light armor vest. When bullets go through armor its not like the entire damage is done, some damage is negated and removed. Plus paca is good against some scav rounds, namely almost all the 9x18 rounds, most of the PPSH rounds, .366 Geska, the low tier 5.45 rounds, 7.62x39 HP, buckshot, and other such low tier scav rounds. Its not going to protect you from PMCs, but it'll make fighting scavs less scary

How does a match work?
With customs for example... At the start when joining it places you with other PMCs and you all have 40minutes to extract, then at some point around the 20minute mark scavs start to spawn in? Is the map closed, meaning each instance that starts with PMCs is separate from all other instances? Is it possible to die as a PMC then try to spawn in as a scav to get your stuff?

this advice is probably very shit as people have told me but i learned factory first xd its a small map and the exits are really easy to learn, for PMC the only exit u got is Gate 3 unless you got a factory exit key
