if you have a gun can you link search your stash to see if you have any mags for it, vice versa for finding guns for mags

Any extract with question marks may or may not be there that raid - it's just random chance.
Any extract that says (Co-op) next to it can only be used by a PMC and a Scav (or multiples) working together, and are rarely ever used
Any extract marked as a V-Ex (Vehicle-Extract) requires you to pay and can only be used by a single PMC/team
Some extracts will require you to turn on the power or use a key- so be careful choosing which extract to head for - feel free to check the wiki

Because nobody but you knows where you're at in terms of quests or hideout, or what barters/crafts you're trying to save for, you have to check things and decide how far in the future you want to hoard for.

Option 1) Set a particular goal - maybe two or three hideout upgrades you want and get your list of like 5-10 items together. Sell everything else. This is the most "to hell with inventory management" approach, and you'll certainly sell things that you'll need again, but you'll spend much more of your time in-raid.

Option 2) Check everything using https://tarkov-market.com/ and the info it provides for quest/hideout/barter/crafting requirements and for flea prices. Then you can decide what things you'll need soon enough to hold onto. This is quicker in the long run and more profitable, but is tedious.

Based on my last death footage, I don’t really know how to peek properly in this game. In others I’d peek out and jiggle side to side while scanning the map for enemies, isolating angles I am visible from. But with how movement works in this you can’t really peek and strafe while shooting, so how’d you go about it?

I'd recommend doing some offline raids on factory with high amount of AI scavs and practice taking shots from the "hip" ADS is only for long range or if you're super holding an angle, especially with irons
