How do I stop getting Buck Fever ingame whenever I see someone? My combat skills are alright for a lvl 3 player, but I have a really bad issue where I freeze up in fear when I hear + see someone. I hesitate and stare for too long, and I also flinch at gunshots.

This wipe has been terrible for me so far, no quests done yet, not a lot of cash made, only 5 raids, with only 5 scav kills. I was better 3 years ago in 2019 when I was playing like without a care in the world, I was getting a ton of PMC kills in the dumbest ways. But now I’ve lost that after not playing for about 4-5 wipes straight.

All you can do is keep playing. It helps to get used to the feel of things, sounds, scav killing, map knowledge - all in offline mode. You can get a handle on those basics with no risk, which makes you more confident going into online.

I think the problem is when I go into offline raids (I do 3-4 offline factory raids a day) is that I don’t treat it like a real raid. I try to intentionally seek conflict in offlines, instead of looting like I’m in an online.

I’ve slowly been getting better at not freezing up when I see people, but I still have a bit of a problem with it. Especially with adrenaline as well, its a big problem for me. Too shaky.

Yea, offline isn't perfect. It can help with basics, but there's a huge psychological hurdle you have to leap to act the same in an online. I've been playing for years, and I still get anxious in solo raids. This game is a horror game, and a lot of the appeal is how scared it can get you. It makes overcoming that challenge extremely satisfying, so try to enjoy it.

Playing with a group really helps with the nerves though, so I might suggest giving that a go

Hi, small question about me dying and having no idea why. So I was fighting a PMC, killed the PMC and had a blackened thorax, stomach, leg and arm. I had no more bleeds, was on painkillers via Vaseline and healed everything else to full HP . My energy level was in the plus, my hydration level as well. I was about to extract and all of a sudden I blacked out and died without any notifications. Does anyone know why this happened?

most are great for selling to the flea, u should almost always just buy attachments off traders because otherwise the price will be inflated on the flea and most silincers and scopes are worth a good amount to sell to mechanic.

yeah scav runs really help get the ball rolling sometimes, earlier after 3 pmc deaths in a row, I spawned as scav in streets and got bitcoin and diary in the same room as my spawn
