I think I need mentoring - I have over 500 hours in tarkov and this is my third wipe. I keep dying in raids and losing in 1 on 1s even when I try to avoid combat. Just now even though i had the drop on someone and dispensed half of my mag into them they were seemingly able to turn around and headshot me. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I try to analyze my plays. I have over 20 years of counter strike training and used to play semi-professionally. I used to be in a very active corp/guild in EvE and did well despite the high skill ceiling. What am I doing wrong?

This may be a dumb question but how do you tell the difference between a scav (a human one, not ai) and a PMC? As a scav, how do I know which one is safe to shoot - I usually die too quickly to have any chance to figure it out
