Everything gains xp, but rogues or labs raiders consistant as they have the highest % spawn chance. But generally speaking, any a.i. (headshot) gains you good xp, so bosses / guards / raiders / rogues / scavs in longer raid really do add up in the end! (and surviving, too) 🙂

Also don't forget your operational tasks especially above 46 go quite hard for xp, especially hand in x items can be easily done by regular playing / having scav junkbox full 🙂

As for the pistol, you should ask yourself how likely you are to actually switch weapons. Most people die before they have a chance to change guns, so it seems more like flushing money down the drain taking two guns in, instead of one and an extra mag.

Si, tasks are always the fastest way to level, then kill XP. You should always try to stack as many tasks as possible in each raid, although if you're newer there's nothing wrong with knocking one out and running to extract.

Rat poison is an incredibly common spawn in the shed by the house right next to Svetily dead end extract on shoreline.

If you're looking at extract << House to the left through gate >> shed directly to right when you walk through. Rat poison spawns in the back of the shed if you turn left on the floor on the left hand side.

Late to the party, but joining late wipe is probably the best. You know you aren't going to match up to more geared players at this point.. You can get your gear fear out of the way & spend the time learning mechanics, efficiently tasking and whatnot. You can still build up a decent stash and compete after alot of fuckups... When day 1 next wipe hits.. You are more than prepared to clap some cheeks

You can buy / barter for an item or a thicc item case from therapist if you have the required items and loyalty level

It's more of a mid-level thing though, not early on

@inner star Learn the mechanics a bit mate, stick to a single map & learn that. I would recommend woods or customs.
Learn where the extraction points are. Have a look at the traders and start a few tasks they can assign to you. You can accept all the tasks available to you. there is no limit to the amount of tasks open.

Insure your gear before starting a raid - particularly to begin with because you will get a bit of it back most of the time.

It's a deadend task so don't focus it too hard. It's best to do super early wipe when everyone is naked, or when you level up and have access to good pistols and ammo (five-seven, Sr-1mp, USP)

Use these maps - they'll look cluttered at first. Hit "Hide All" on the left-hand toolbar, then scroll down and only toggle on "Extractions" and "Locations". That'll give you a pretty good look - feel free to toggle on some loot options as you go

Head into a practice mode on one of those maps, toggle on some AI scavs, and try to get a feel for the map, movement, gunplay, scav killing, etc.
When you're ready - try to scav into one of those maps and actually get some loot out.
Then you can take your PMC in and try to do some quests or loot or simply survive.
Good luck - you will die, try to have fun with it.

Anything that says barter item can go in that junkbox

Theyre a no brainer as you want to save items you need for future quests

Lost. If no one picks it up and you insured it the backpack itself will come back in insurance. But the entire point of that extract is you have to sacrifice your backpack to leave
