okay so kind of a different level of question, but why do i keep running into sherpas who keep wanting to shove me into shoreline and lighthouse to show me how to make money, instead of helping me find items, kill scavs, and build up my hideout so i can complete quests like i asked them to?
i've run into this multiple times now, where a "sherpa" will just refuse to help me go to known category spawn locations for items i need (med crates, med duffle bags, tech crates, etc) and instead insist on doing cache runs or raider/rogue runs or whatever
this is despite me all but screaming at them that i dont feel comfortable with even basic customs or factory runs
the highest level thing im barely comfortable with is scav interchange runs, so why the fuck are they dropkicking me off the difficulty cliff head-first?
how do i beat these people into compliance to make them do what i want to do, even if it is less efficient than their "playing since the game launched" veteran chad abilities?

if you want med loots i highly recommend scav runs on reserve. there are some medical buildings that dont need any keys and I always get injectors/medkits etc from them.

So I'm a newer player and want to learn a map without being guided. Which map do I go exactly and how do I learn it? My pmc has some good guns and a bastion I throw nods on for fun so id prefer it to also be something SCAV compatible.

you can join a raid in "offline" mode which give you all your gear and there are only scavs. anything you die with you wont lose and anything you loot you wont keep

Like why not do a fun event? Spawn special scavs on maps that drop a loot box with random items…hell just make this thing opt in, so it’s a gamble…you can spawn in with random effects…so experienced players can have some randomness and newer players aren’t fucked
