Record your deaths and analyzing what got you killed helps new players a lot. You can learn if your positioning got you killed or if you peeked a bad angle etc
Customs has a lot of tasks early on but it is a pvp centric map at this point in the wipe
Reserve is also pvp centric so id stay away from reserve

@pale marlin keep rocking the ump, until you hit lvl 30 for mechanic 3 then. It's a solid gun but if you want to deviate to other guns then:. RFB shooting M80(You can use any gun that use m80). AS-Val with SP5(Spray head). SKS with PS/BP.
AK 5.45 shooting BT (RPK is cheap to mod for good performance), The short SAG AK is pretty good to mod(DMR)
AK-101 is a good budget/mid-tier that can shoot 5.56 like 556A2 (only use 556A2/A1 on this gun)
