Here are a few tarkov PVP tips. Do you agree?

• stick with teammates within a few meters, so you can trade kills if you come across another group, and avoid any confusion as to who's who (always know where your teammates are.. so it's best to stay close, but not too close to have a different angle on enemies)
• slow is smooth, smooth is fast: walk, don't run, unless you have to or made sure it's clear already. Running is super loud
• thermals give you the best advantage, especially in the open or semi-open. Bushes and trees and close quarter combat make them kinda obsolete.. but overall, you can spot enemies so much faster than with nightvision or regular vision, even at day. They're very expensive, but worth every rouble once you can afford them
• ammo matters more than the gun
• learn to hip fire accurately for close range combat, it keeps you a lot more mobile, and it reduces recoil if you have a laser on
• above like 20 meters, you should probably use a sight or scope, instead of hip fire, you're probably gonna miss your shots
• one well placed shot is better than 20 panic shots.. that one is hard to do
• armor is a last ditch effort to survive, map knowledge and spotting the enemy before they spot you is more important. Once you're in a firefight, all bets are off. Class 6 armor only allows you to survive an extra shot or two before dying
• Use "Alt" to hold your breath, it will stabilize your gun
• prone allows you to hold your gun much longer, but you sacrifice mobility and visibility
• keep the enemy players guessing, keep moving, flank.. don't stay in the same spot unless you have an advantageous right peek or position
• Expect flanks. A player scav last night almost killed me by flanking around the building I was in, it was a smart move, and didn't anticipate him to go all the way around and end up on the other side completely, but I should have

one magical tip people don't tell you is that every map has set spawns you can spawn at

they are more or less advantageous

but based on the spawn you should choose what to do

for example on customs you have a spawn by the giving tree

that is a priority spawn for fortress because you're guaranteed to be there first

or any crackhouse spawn

two spawns on each side of dorms

also if you're new you have shit gear try not to challenge higher lvl players

this game is like an rpg game

Mostly what people will do is wear bodyarmor and a rig so they can quickly drop the armor to kill the scav and put it back on without losing bound keys and mags

First step would be to try to get acquainted with the map. Pull up the map and go into offline if you struggle with this part

but go around the map trying to get used to landmarks

characteristic buildings etc

that part will be done when you can draw the entire map (very vaguely) in ms paint

like you want to be able to connect the entirety of the map so anywhere you know where you are just from being able to look around

That is later adjusted to know perfect directions. Like you're far away on the map and just from the direction you can tell +/- where the fight is

at that stage you also learn a lot of spots that are good to use. right hand angles etc

i believe around the part where you learn all the spots you dont need to know about you also learn PMC spawn and you realize the flow of the map

for example customs

you can split the map in half

right hand goes to left and left goes right

that later evolves into knowing MORE spawns so you know what those spawns are used for

and know what those spawns will most likely do
