That's a rather hardcore approach and I find it mostly results in tons of deaths and frustration/burnout. Better to get a foothold on the basics in other maps before jumping into the intense PvP

there was a mission that was like get 20m or closer kills with a bolt action, so I took a mosin to factory with no armour and only a headset and it helped immensely with learning sound cues and such
and using a bolt action in such close quarters taught me a lot about using cover and quick peeking

factory is great for that, until arena comes out the game isnt like cod where youre dying and going again every 5 seconds, constantly learning from your mistakes, sometimes it takes up to an hour before you fuck up an engagement depending on your pathing and if you arent playing factory

Learning the maps is the hard part, once you know them then you can easily find the quest items using the wiki.

Use these maps - they'll look cluttered at first. Hit "Hide All" on the left-hand toolbar, then scroll down and only toggle on "Extractions" and "Locations". That'll give you a pretty good look - feel free to toggle on some loot options as you go
