I had an interesting encounter yesterday on shoreline. Scaving, a player scav called a drop in, i got there second and picked off what he left me as i guarded him looting, then more player scavs turned up and we all just took it in turns guarding each other and looting it haha

Always use your F1 key man. If they respond to you in russian then you know, its the best way, especially if your round a corner and hear someone close by, just tap f1 and wait for the response. No response open fire. I’ve only killed a single pscav so far this way (im new to game this wipe also)

Most player scavs have killed me point blank as i loot a body though, they wont do it when you have chance to shoot them back so if you encounter someone near a body to loot, be very cautious. Maybe leave the at body and move onto the next one. Some pscavs will kill you just to take your visibly good loot

You can get #7 in multiple ways

From inside the eastern building (snipe him through the northern door slit)

This depends on the route you take I guess. I usually go through east to hit some spawns on my way

So I grab him through the door

Alternatively you can snipe him from behind eastern building if you move up a little and slowlean out

Last reliable option is to snag him from the south

I don't like him from the rocks personally but if you're quick enough you can take him before he locks in on you

5&6 are a lot easier

5 you can take from western building, from western rocks

But if you come from the east like me you can literally just walk up the stairs and shoot him in the back of the head

They take a moment to unmount their machineguns and turn to you

Should be plenty of time to kill them, same goes for 6

6 can also be done from directly below him

You just backpedal a bit until his helmet is visible and you put a bullet in it. He won't be able to shoot you

Kill 8 first (if he spawned). Sometimes he's got a roaming buddy, then that guy will need to die first

Always kill roaming rogues before machinegun rogues, the machinegunners will have to leave their guns which takes them a while. You can tap the gunners after you tap the roamer (provided you're running a DMR/AR of sorts)

The way i learned pvp in this game (idk if it's gonna work for you).

Try and get a good amount of money, find a gun that you like. (Iirc i used AKM a lot)
Then find out what type of pvp you like, close, long range etc. - i was a cqc player, so i ran dorms and resort.

Watch Glorious_E pvp guide (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CppjePZ8puY) - remember that this is very old, but i still remember the stuff he's saying in every fight. Do whatever you can to get a righthand peek btw, left hand is very stupid.

And then just go for it, point fire is very op in this game so i would recommend you trying to learn it. Offline, Factory, Horde mode, Tagged And Cursed. Remember to bring a shit ton of mags, and then just point fire all the scavs running at you.
