Cons of good Karma: You get executed by mean scavs from time to time and just have to take it.

Pros of Bad Karma: You can kill anyone you want and get their gear, which can be really helpful depending on your ability to fight scavs.
Cons of bad Karma: Worsening timers, worsening gear, slower scav cases, more expensive extracts and and -6.0 everything will treat you as hostile on sight.

You gain Karma by extracting as a scav without killing peaceful scavs, using car or scav+pmc extracs, killing PMCs as a scav.

It's not that early in the wipe- good chance nobody will hit it in your raid. The key is a 100% spawn in a jacket in dorms in room 205 in 3 story

If no one open the tanker you can creep over there, very good odds that if you wait a bit you'll be able to grab it no problem

I've killed a lot of people because their lasers gave them away - if you're hyper aggressive it doesn't matter much to leave it on, but if not just try to get better at toggling it when you're about to need it

it gives you away sometimes but audio is gonna give you away more so idk if its even that much of a concern, having lasers on for a long time subconciously helps you be better at hipfire and crosshair placemnt, i recomend going around with it on in pvp areas

running offline raids as a newer player can really help you learn the game more, without risking loot

if you have standard edition, you can do offline solo, against AI, if you have EOD you can do offline with people, and just learn extracts, how to fight AI, and where loot spawns

it really helped me when i wanted to become better and learn more

i have made a huge mistake by playing pmc few times, now i have been playing only scavs until i get some what decent, also there is a upgrade thingy in hideout where makes scav cooldown shorter i m grindingg that

load into factory or customs or something like that, and practice against AI and bosses

helps with getting better with combat

customs can be a dumpster fire sometimes, but if you are doing scav runs, i would say interchange is best for overall loot and loot stashes, and easy to remember extracts

theres 2 main extracts ALWAYS open for scavs on either end of the map

Best advice, learn one map at a time, keep a map guide open on a second monitor/phone. Use land marks to try work your way around, sneak a lot to start with to get your bearings until you’re more confident on the map. I just started playing a couple weeks ago and thats how ive been doing it. I have four maps solidly memorised now this way

Scav runs are a great way to learn maps, as less chance of being killed as a lot of pmc’s will have extracted half the time already

Stick to customs, interchange is brutal. Just keep doing scav runs and slow and sneaky PMC runs (even with no gear) or do offline raids.

I don't die like that in Woods, and im basically playing the game way. Staying clear of open areas, running for cover and what not. Doesn't matter tho I still get dropped from somewhere very far away

Avoid the beach and docks, as those are common SBIH spots, keep moving even when regenerating stamina and dont allow yourself to go above the regen stamina while moving threshhold, it's pretty generic advice but should help
