Just remember that if they hear it getting pulled out they might push you - as you can't do anything about it. So be careful about not being too close

I use all kinds of meme weapons and still have moderate to high success rate. Personally I say dont worry about the lowest recoil builds until later in the game if you care that much
Theres PMC skills that will buff your assault rifle skills as you use them so leveling these skills with durpy weapons means you have an even better meta build later :)
Level the skills for cheap until level 20 or so then build nice weapons imo

My favorite method is getting a docs case with all the keys for safe rooms in dorms then extracting with the car

Easiest one is probably Interchange. Stash run outside the mall then finish at the car extract after you loot Power Station and kill some scavs. Alternatively, go Woods, loot Scav Village and leave with 400k+ loot in just a few minutes.

Customs requires you to go Dorms and you’re competing with the Dorms chads for the extract

on the second shot you had a couple things working against you.

You had a 50m zero , which gives us two possiblities, its either a far zero meaning the bullet will hit 50m and then pass under the point of aim,

or a combat zero in which the bullet will cross upwards at the 50 distance, fly above the light of sight, and then cross down around 225m meaning a high impact at the 150m

So in either case you have an offset in which the bullet will either strike the arm, or strike the helmet of the shooter.

second issue you run into is the accuracy of the weapon, at 150m , you have a 4.3" group, and are holding the edge of the target , so you could have out right missed (though unlikely).

awesome, thanks for the observation. I saw this after I investigated later in the raid. No signs of blood. Not sure if a change in texture on the oppossite side of the bullet entry necessarily means the bullet is continuing trajectory or that it's momentum.

ye Shooting through stuff is very odd in tarkov because even on the same map , the "Same type" of surface i.e the boxes you were firing at, might cause diffrent damage scrub, and also the trajectory when passing through objects is near RNG , much like it can be IRL.
