The problem there isn't spotting the enemy, it's healing uncessarily out in the open (and not healing with hotkey but by going into inventory first). And as soon as you did spot him you could've moved straight away into cover making you harder to hit instead of ads'ing and trying to kill straight away. Common mistake.
