the guy was maybe 20 meters away the mosin irons are zero-ed at 50 you aimed at his head the round popped up by a few centimeters and never hit if you are gonna use irons like that make sure your fov is all the way down tarkov fov is different from other games its vertical so when you are on max fov iron sights arent very accurate
its a known effect there are guides on youtube explaining it better than i can the effect is most noticeable on slower ammo like the 3x39 guns where there is a much bigger arc

I slowed it down and reviewed it, and you might have just gotten super unlucky with your spray control - you hit 2 rounds (+ or - 1) in the spray on the left of the container, and perhaps 1 or 2 in the spray on the right of the container. Those rounds that you hit look like they could conceivably have hit his arms (in front of his torso) - I saw one of that last spray hit his arm for sure.
How many hits and armor damage did you get? or is impossible to tell because you fought people earlier in that raid?
