well all three are chambered in 5.56x45, but the m4 and hk416 have fully automatic capabilities whilst the adar only has semi-automatic

If you're asking what the difference is; the ADAR is basically a civilian grade AR-15, meaning it's only semi-automatic. So if you're in cqc, then have fun breaking the LMB. the M4 and HK416 are military grade AR-15, they use full automatic

The body of the gun is not what makes it effective when firing, only the ammo type matters the most. It's all about what type of ammo your using. For example, Pst gzh is an "OK" type of ammo, but it will take a lot of rounds to destroy lv. 4 or 5 armor. However, it will destroy lv. 3 and lower armor. The ammo I usually use and that's very good (not the very best but it'll do the job) is BP gs (also depends on what type of rifle your using; USEC guns or BEAR guns). I recommend you look into the wiki, there's a lot of wikis about all this info I'm giving you

Yeah the trooper does get penned by scav shotties for sure! The lvl 6 has saved my life from players and scavs so many times. I used to only run troopers, but now I only run that bastion setup.
