Honestly don't be, choose the mindset of "This is borrowed gear." because let's be real, what you have in your stash in there to be used, allowing it to sit and gather dust is only clogging up your stash space.

Take it from someone who had gear fear for a whole year, it goes away once you learn to cope with the loss of high end gear, without using and sometimes dying with your stuff, the fear wont go away, I hope this helped.
