on maps like interchange/reserve/shoreline and especially labs they usually dont do shit, customs is different because there's low level timmys running 5.45 PS and BP
trust me I've been saved a lot and have the extra money to spend on helmets, its just that its like a 1/50 chance you'll actually be hit in the head by a bullet that cant pen class 4
even low tier and mid tier ammo like 56a1 and BT has a pretty good chance to go through class 4 helmets and they're like 250-350 roubles a bullet

I get that they can help you sometimes but usually not worth the extra 80k on a class 4 helmet that doesn't even protect your face, want decent face protection its at least 150k with hearing or like 100k for an altyn
