it makes all the ai within a 50M radius of where you shoot it friendly to your faction and gives them the coding to protect you. If you attack something in the same faction as your neutralized AI they will kill you as well. If you're attacked by their faction you must let the enemy hit you for the AI on your side to protect you. Hope this helps.
