BSG was too lazy to remove things not available in PVE when they released it. You still can't open ref doors, GP coins spawn (nowadays with no barters), those are in the workbench menu, you still get coop extract dailies/weeklies (which are doable but definitely not in an intended way as they are on PVP, where you voip and work together. on pve you exploit the ai to use them to extract by basically baiting and not dying xd while behind cover, or acid green them), and lots of "kill x pmcs at y" tasks exist, despite AI pmcs having incredibly minimal pathing in or around those areas; Secured Perimter, some of LK's tasks and the such. Additionally, PVE has local hosting and... LK unlocks are bugged on local runs, so you have to go online (which PVP always is) to get those unlocks reliably.

tldr BSG didn't tweak PVE that much when they released it. they just took PVP and removed the player aspect, threw in AI and called it a day.

Nikita is at least aware we want Ref but no confirmation (or denial) about his addition, so maybe GP coins and those crafts will serve a purpose... or maybe not.

Playstyle and skill level all vary; in PVE and PVP. But just because a gun is bad in your hands doesn't make it bad in other people's hands. As with literally every gun with any flavor of downside, there's a wayt o use it. You simply use it poorly and as such, it performs poorly.
The exact same would happen if you tried sniping with buckshot, CQCing with a boltie, only hipfiring with an LMG. You use the right tool for the right job with the right approach, otherwise your tool does not function adequately and the only party to blame would be the user.

If you hold down the trigger on an M60 and empty all your boxes without killing the enemy, the mistake was not spacing out your shots. Now you're dry and they push and you're dead. Right tool, right job, right skill set.

People don't want actual realism, because actual realism is not playable how Tarkov plays. It'd be such an insanely different game if it was realistic. One singular bullet to a non-lethal place could kill you. Bleeding out, infection, slowing you down, so on, so forth. A single bullet to the chest that doesn't pen armor could break a rib and jam that rib, broken, into an internal organ and cause lethal internal bleeding; whether swift or long. Injuries of any flavor would be life threatening due to the distinct lack of doctors and actual medical profressionals.

It's not fun, it's not engaging, it doesn't give you a thrill. It's going black instantly after sitting around for 30 minutes waiting for the other guy to show his head. Tarkov, as a competitive video game, has to balance engaging and semi-fair gameplay and realism. Single shots will knock you out of a fight IRL, few more will kill you. Being shot once and being rendered incapable of fighting wouldn't make for a very fun or engaging video game.

tbh any of those red spawns they're gonna be checking your spawn , and the guy did. i wouldnt say it is that sus. streets is a map you gotta know the spawns on

especially if you play solo/duo you will be getting very close enemy spawns to you

and there are a lot of players who do know the spawns well and will always be checking /aware of the nearest spawns to them

is it good thing that spawns can be so close that you die in seconds ? no, but it is what it is so you have to work with those spawns
