I played without EOD for 2 wipes then bought EOD, the game is ten times easier when you don't have to play tetris for 20m after every raid because you don't have enough stash space to be able to just throw your loot in. Having EOD takes a tremendous burden off of the player from stash size alone, not to mention the rep increase you have with every trader.
