I still have fun, I recognize the game has many problems and is far from perfect, but even with all the bad it's still my favorite game. Cheating has been an issue for years, that's not an excuse, but like.. idk. This ain't new, I just take the L's, don't think too hard on them and keep playing. I have more fun in more raids than I don't, and that is all that matters to me.

My view:

You might die to.. nothing at all, but you still die. You may die from falling through the terrain. You may die from status effects. You may die from a scav.

All that's certain, is that you will die. It sucks ass that cheating is just another on the list of ways to die, but at the end of the day, EFT is still a game where loss and dying is commonplace. As such, be it to a hacker, a scav or my own dumb mistakes.. I don't think too hard on it and just queue for the next raid. What's gonna happen is gonna happen.

I had a BUNCH of cinematic deaths in one of my raids the other night. Lots of instances of guys in positions like this.

Ignore the blown out contrast / lighting, Windows 11 HDR issue with screenshots, my game doesn't actually look like this to me.

There was that guy just, sitting in the weeds. There were two scavs blown back up against one of the cars near scav checkpoint like they were just drunk and passed out. Some PMC got backblasted when retreating and was like hung over a railing in the factory yard.

thats just how it is lmao, honestly once you get high enough level traders gear becomes quite cheap so you should focus more on xp than money when u start out. its normal to die to cheap stuff, the people i killed died despite having way more expensive meta gear because i surprised them (and abused flashlight vs night vision)

its a normal experience, you will feel a lot better with good gear at some point. i cant buy 40 rounders for the mp7 yet but ive had these for like 2-3 weeks now because every time i run it they either return or i survive simply because its a good weapon. when you get some money buy a good kit or two and you will see how often it saves you, then you just end up running good gear the moment you have it

factory is decent, like i said, if ur running shotguns like mp-153 or mp-155 with flechette. it can melt anybody, but with that mindset, going in with altyn, zabralo, meta m4, you're basically asking to be leg meta'd
(plus, tagilla dies with 1 full spray of any 6-rounder shotgun filled with flechette, so ez boss farming)
