They swapped punisher 5 and grenadier rewards. 5.56 got buffed and it's still one of the worst rounds in the game (imo), I wouldn't use an m4 over an RD with BP at the moment. If you have BP unlocked its definitely better, otherwise I guess you can run 5.56 even though I'd rather run an RFB with something like m62 and spam it. 18k bullets is a lot but seeing how fast you go through it this wipe, I wonder how long it'll last. Nice collection anyways though!

It's not the armor that protects you, it's the ricochet chance. The armor class doesn't do shit unless it's low calibers like you said. That ear protection is useful because it prevents a LOT of snipers of going through your mushy brain where it could instead bounce off due to the angle of the ulach coverage. No reason to run a bastion over other helmets of the same class unless you have the plate, the ear coverage is too good.
