Unless it's a massive backpack it's clear as day if your over weight with a small backpack. unless they have insanly heavy armor but that would be ovious, if there not wearing heavy armor then the tank bat is the clear answer.

if you are overweight to the point of not regaining stamina, regardless of if you are a scav or pmc and what loot you have. do you: A - prone, crawl to get stamina, then run when your stamina is full again. or B - stand still, while waiting for stamina and having a high chance of someone spotting you and dying

when did scav come into the answer xD i never specified scav. as a pmc you can easily get it done, as a nake scav with a big enough backpack they can carry a tank battery without being that over weight, however if you have a scav gearset with loot and a tank bat then it's ovious why your in the red, however when your not in the red it's not as ovious. only a tank bat can put you in the red with a small backpack. i've played multiple wipes and tested this. as a scav if you drop everything you can get out really fast.
