BIG NEWS. Airwingmarine proved the air filter unit DOES WORK. When people were testing it this wipe they werent testing BEFORE installing the unit. I should note that this is my second wipe, but I had no performance issues in the previous one at all. The only hardware change I've done was replacing my old GTX 1080 with a RTX 3070. Everything else is the same.

7700k (OCd to 4.8)

Game and pagination memory are in a M.2 SSD

Issues:
> Most maps lead to low FPS (50-60) and frame time of about 30-35ms.
> I literally cannot load Lighthouse since this wipe, my game eats my entire RAM and crashes

I have 20gb of pagination memory set to the same SSD as Tarkov is running, this is also an upgrade because previously I had 20GB in a slow drive (HDD).

All of my settings remain the same (and I tried cranking them down and using DLSS instead). I use the same peripherals so it should not be a problem related to CPU time. My temperatures are fine, CPU at about 70C on load and GPU hardly ever above 60.

I have reinstalled the game already and the only way to make it remotely playable is to close literally everything else on my PC. My CPU usage is low, GPU usage is low, disk usage is low but Tarkov eats basically every RAM I have (goes up to like 10-11gb on Lighthouse). My only last idea is to do a fresh install of windows but I figured I'd ask first.

This is just puzzling considering last wipe it worked flawlessly, even if I did not bother closing anything else running on my PC

I read some previous msgs about RAM settings too, I have XMP profiles enabled, no manual overclock of them. They are also sitting on the correct dual-channel slots of my MoBo. I also do not know if Tarkov has any performance profiling logs or anything that I could share to help

Zooming, as far as I've understood, double renders the world since you see around the scope and through the scope without loss of resolution. Hence the lower fps when zooming.

For starters you could run an HW overlay, or a monitor if you have a 2nd monitor, to look at CPU and GPU temps, along with their and RAMs loads.

Just knowing if something runs at >90% or >80°C could show which part is problematic.

And just to check, have you updated NVIDIA drivers?

I've done that already, actually. I can load in a map and share some screenshots, but the GPU/CPU usage as well as temperatures are not anything out of the ordinary. The usages are low (but not insignificant) and temperatures, as mentioned, are also very under control.

I've kept afterburner running on the side to keep track of power draw, temp and usage as well as nvidia's overlay to watch for frame times

I don't really think there's a way to "pick" which pool it is using from. I have virtual memory from both my NVME SSDs, one has tarkov in it and the other has my OS. I don't have that many disks to pick from, unfortunately, and neither are gigantic. So I've made both have some space.

On a side note, the automatic RAM Cleaner made my CPU usage go up (expected, although there's also heavier weather) but Tarkov is definitely not using the same amount of memory as before.

I will keep it on for now and see if the game behaves for some online raids. Both SS are offline + PVE lighthouse

If you have tried everything and you get disconnections every single raid over and over and never have a good raid, this may be an ISP problem where you don't have a dual stack (unique IPV4 address) connection. This is not something you can fix on your end, even disabling ipv6 on your pc. Dual stack lite is not real dual stack, also.

Can you go to Start (in Windows) > type "view reliability history" and see if there's any error entries for when you crash? Look at the details and look for the fault module name for a clue to what's causing it.

hey, so i have an issue where I can run every map perfectly fine, but lighthouse runs at like 20 fps and stutters every 4 seconds. Aiming down sights is horrible and freezes my game for about 5 seconds.
