I have heard of adding it the launcher to the firewall and trying over and over helps rarely, but you will probably get limited.

Hello all, I am having issue getting the game to run correctly. After purchasing, verifying, and installing yesterday evening, I ran the BSG launcher and tried to start up the game, but upon reaching what should have been the main menu, i was greeted by the message " 201 - Client Not Authorized or Not Selected Game Profile" then the program closed itself. Does anyone know the cause or a fix for this? I have scoured the web and none of the suggested methods have worked for me. I have tried: signing out of the launcher and signing back in, manually selecting my server, uninstalling and reinstalling the launcher, uninstalling and reinstalling the game files, exempting both of the above from Windows firewall, setting a static IP / DNS, and rebooting my PC. None of these things has resolved the issue. I've submitted support requests on the EFT webpage, and am awaiting response. Any help with this issue would be much appreciated!

Try on wired to be sure. If you have troubleshooted everything this is probably an ISP issue. First reboot your modem by unplugging it from power for 15 seconds and try again. Then if not still, you may need to contact your ISP and ask for a prioritized IPV4 connection, otherwise known as "dual stack" as the Tarkov servers do not work well with a pure IPV6 internet connection. You can disable IPV6 on your local computer but this doesn't fix the problem on your ISP's end.

If you're on wired and troubleshooted everything else it could be an ISP issue with not supporting IPV4, which is not something you can fix on your end. You may need to ask your ISP for a prioritized IPV4 connection, otherwise known as "dual stack". Disabling IPV6 on your end does not fix this.

You could have dual stack lite and everyone in your same area has the same IPV4 address

Go to the launcher folder and erase everything in the TEMP folder and try again.

Right click the launcher shortcut and open file location, go into the TEMP folder and delete all files.

If you have tried everything this is a rare issue that requires you to reinstall the game manually every update.

If you added those two folders to the exclude list it should fix it. Otherwise it could randomly fix it self.

You could try installing manually to get around the long repair time.

The pins show how. It won't have this problem unless your antivirus takes a file out of there after you install.

Adding the game folder and launcher folder to the whitelist fixes a lot of these problems with antivirus scanning game files.
