Well, its a big problem and I don't know what the hell to do. I've just upgraded my gpu and that's when the problems started. When loading into the game, sometimes even before I get in, or in the middle of playing, my pc will freeze. (Or tarkov will crash)

I've downloaded all my drivers, done and searched up everything to try to fix the problem, nothing worked

With my old gpu it worked fine

Just upgraded from a Ryzen 5 3600 to a Ryzen 9 5900x since then (GPU is a RTX 3080) I’m getting terrible stuttering and like major 60-70fps drops. With my old CPU I never had this it ran smooth. I’ve looked up what seems like everything online I’m lost for words right now cause I’m messed with every setting spent 3 hours in offline raid just messing with settings and other stuff but still no solution I’ll be rocking 120-200 FPS and boom huge hit to drops to 30-40fps walking into buildings or sometimes even turning around quick. I have majority of things either off or on low besides textures high and Reflex on with boost..any ideas?

Did you try resetting the password on the website? These emails are more likely to come through, in my experience.

Most of the time people have problems with the launcher email but not on the website

Anyone have any advice to get better fps when double rendering? Is there like a setting that'll make the fps drop not as bad. Cause scoping in on some sections of some maps if not the entire of a map like lighthouse fps goes from 60 to 39 and it looks really bad. Same goes for being outside resort 79fps - 49 fps and it looks really bad and it is just hard to fight at that range with those scopes.

DLSS uses AI so that you can drop it to 2k, and AI upscales to 4k

So you have the performance of 2k but it's almost identical to 4k

The cause for you is most definitely the lack of ram. Some have issues at 16GB but if you only have 8GB that is the cause.

The page file is not the same speed as ram is, but it compliments the ram.

I would suggest getting another stick of 8GB or upgrade to 2x 16GB

If you get another 8GB stick try getting the exact same module, as the model on the sticker on the ram.

2-3 wipes ago i accidently opened the cache folder and it had a picture/icon of every item i have in my stache. Reason I need to find it is lets say I buy an m4a1 and put a grip and sight on it it shows in that cache image folder since its the state as its in my stash. Hard to take a full length picture in modding/edit preview screen with long/tall weapons..
The infinte image loading on items can be fixed by clearing cache folder so i assume thats where it is now but its no longer imaged and just encrypted text so i'd like to know if its still accessible. any1 know?

I had this problem before on gtx 970. i have now 3060ti and the problem is still a bit there. like not to 3 fps but it goes down for 2seconds to 30-40 fps only at zooming.
Like i see, Tarkov is very much CPU Game based too because of alot of calculating happening here. or Game is not optimized 100%.
Maybe try different settings? LOD Quality not to full, Viewing Distance reduce or let it at 2000, no antialiasing, i dont know with which settings your playing

Stuttering at AI/PMC spawn events (short freezes of 1-3 seconds) are a big topic yeah. When it‘s stuttering, the ‚Game Update‘ latency timer goes nuts. My test though was without AI and PMC. I want to believe that 3080 (ti?) would bring those 10-15 fps more for the game not to fall under 40 fps in sum.

Comparison between 4x (green) and m700 with 12x (red) at 2 different targets - one far and one "mid far" 😉 . The m700 scope performs far better (as I stated above) in terms of FPS drop. It may look like it's not a big difference between 15 and 21 ms render time - but it sure is ingame.
