I recently completed the 'Introduction' task for the Mechanic. Upon completion, I received the 30,000 roubles - however the trader, Jaeger did not unlock for me. Also worth mentioning that when clicking complete, an error popup showed - something to do with 'backend error'. I have tried restarting the game and clearing the cache, but Jaeger is still locked for me, even though the objective is complete. Just bought the game a few days ago and really enjoying but worried that it's ruined for me now if a main trader is perma locked for me..

Any help would be really appreciated!

The backend error occurs when the servers are having issues, you just happened to turn in one of the most important tasks while the servers were lagging so it didn't complete

I picked up EOD for a few reasons, one being I got into Tarkov to get away from warzone headaches lol Tarkov headaches are worse. I have an update on the EOD upgrade. When you go to your profile and you see your transactions. You click the letter icon where it says your purchase of eod and it tell you to reset your account to get the items… not what I want to do but it might be there way of bypassing just sending us the items and not resetting the accounts

While you're doing that, On your launcher, clear your cache, then run an integrity check. After that, on your Nvidia control panel ; hit 3D settings, go to your power management mode and change it to prefer "maximum performance" then hit save.

Did you try on or on + boost? Or you could try setting it to high priority in task manager. And there is one other setting that you can do to have set a higher priority but I dont remember where it is, I think it was a nividia setting. Not sure if you tried any of those yet.

You need to remove the items from the install list. A program called CCleaner can let you "delete" it from the programs list to remove it. Otherwise, reinstall the game in the same spot and uninstall it and it will fix this.
