There's an app called wifi analyzer that you can use to see what channels are open or congested.

Sometimes anti virus software flags apps, and you need to run them as admin to get around it. Thats why I never install an anti virus until I need one, then I uninstal it afterwards

Hey all, super new here, decided to finally bite the bullet and get tarkov due to the sale etc.

However im running into the issue were i simply cannot play at all, i get disconnects nonstop, i was able to run once for like 20 seconds untill i timed out, and since then i never went into a game again due to it loading for 5 minutes and then telling me error, connection lost

Fixes i tried so far:

Choosing specific servers and not auto, in my case Germany > 19 ping. Didnt work sadly

Making excemptions, Disabling firewall, restarting router + pc

Reinstall is currently in progress, so dont know yet if this will be the fix, but it shouldnt be since i just installed it freshly yesterday for the first time and i didnt temper with anything whatsoever

No packet loss weirdly happening that i can monitor, also i can be in discord teamspeak or whatever during it just fine, works flawless, its something specific i feel like.

Router is fairly new and from a big german provider, hadnt had any issues with it yet at all, got a 100k connection which is also going strong and i had no complaints about slower speeds or cut outs so far...

Really trying to find the root of the issue here since i feel like its not fair to write tarkov off for me due to not beeing able to play it in the first place haha.

Seems to me you are getting disconnected from too high of ping for some reason. Nikita said in the past to choose three of the lowest ping servers from the browser and try that. Not just one. Or use auto which you said you started with

can tell you I had this problem in the past. I am not sure who your internet provider is but I used Xfinity/Comcast and they suck ass in regards to customer service and limiting your internet through their routers.

What sucks ass even more is that BSG does not do a good job of telling you what ports to open on your router as it's some kind of hidden secret apparently.

Put these 2 together and boom you have constant disconnects.

What did I do to get around it? I made my own network at home - put my router in bridge mode, bought my own personal router, and paid someone to monitor all traffic on my internet. In the end, they opened up all ports and I haven't disconnected since.

Your GPU is a bit on the weaker size. I have a 1070 and at 1440p it runs maps like Lighthouse (poorly optimized) at 30 fps. So you probably will be fine with 1080p.

It's honestly something you need to try to know for sure.

yes, multiple times, i tried it on auto first, didnt work, tried it on germany only (19 ping), didnt work, choose my sourrounding servers in addition to germany (didnt went over 40 ping in my selection) didnt work either...

traders etc. refresh and update and work normal, as soon as i join a game i get infinite loading after it loaded the map, loot locations etc. its stuck at waiting for session to start, time runs up to nearly 5 minutes and then i get an error with connection timed out
