Need some help, not sure if anyone else has ran into this issue. I took a year break from Tarkov and I wanted to get back into it, for some reason I can only play the factory map, any other map I try to start up I get stuck at “awaiting session start” and it won’t do anything till the raid is over then I get kicked out.

I have 16GB of ram and I run a 1660 Super as my graphics card. My pc should be able to run this game no problem. Has anyone ran into this issue before?

Also I have tried deleting the game, I whipped any viruses on my computer, tried changing the server. I’m out of ideas here.

If that is the solution they give I would opt to ask for a refund if possible and later when they have fixed the problem I would buy the EOD edition again. this game definitely does something weird with amd cpu. when I enter the raid it works at around 10 fps and, cpu temperature stays at 70 C while cpu usage is under 20% while for an example, cinebench test does 100% cpu usage and it reaches 68 C max temp...

This game does a huge impact on CPU, not all cores but it does something wrong which causes cpu thermals to go sky high even with no full utilisation. High temp and huge load on some cores can cause cpu to step down with clocks.

A mod on the forum said that you have to reset the pmc to fix the problem, if you haven't received anything then no, they will fix it for you. @tepid hearth has received a reply from BSG support and has been told the same thing, that he will have to reinitialise the pmc.

If you get this on every server and have troubleshooted your internet connection like bypassing the router and using a direct to modem connection to make sure your router isn't causing this, you will need to contact your internet service provider and ask them to look into this and you might need to ask them for prioritized IPV4 support as the Tarkov servers don't like pure IPV6 connections. For the IPV4 request you may need tier 2 support as they won't probably know what that means.

Run the launcher and game as admin. Right click their EXEs > properties > compatibility tab > check run as administrator.

Also disable your antivirus and see if that helps.
