Tried with VPN? You can turn it off afterwards. @uneven token You can upgrade to the EU version on the pre-order page while being logged in. Keep in mind, you'll experience high ping when playing in other regions, potentially leading you to get kicked out of the raid(s).

There's no generic fix for that. There are solutions you can try, but they don't work for everybody. I fixed it by using a VPN all the time while playing, selecting the servers with the best ping in my region. You can try to disable IPV6, use Google's or Cloudflares DNS, flush your DNS and reset IP etc.

Multiple people over the last few years have made complaints about the state of the servers, nothing has ever been done to resolve it. Same with the cheating and RMting, at this point its just a matter of time before the servers die again as no one wants to play a game they purchased for full price that doesnt work. Not trying to be a negative nancy but this has gone on long enough. If the developers refuse to listen to the community there wont be a community left by launch......if such a thing ever happens.

Hello all! I hope everyone is well.

I've been having issues with an error message while playing. I play for around 5-10 minutes and get a pop up box saying "anti-cheat connection failed" to which I am disconnected from the raid, and taken straight back to the launch menu.

This happens in every raid. No exception. I play on American servers with my friend (I'm in the UK but it's never been an issue until now) with the ping at around 120.

I've tried many fixes including adjusting my firewalls, verifying cache, reinstalling and using a VPN. But nothing seems to work!

Does anyone have any idea on how I can fix this?

I have been banned from EFT as I think the hacker cheated on my account and selled all my InGame bellongings. I saw some weird shit appening on my account this Monday and Tuesday but didn't thought about my account being hacked. There are solutions, but they won't work for everybody. What worked for me is playing with VPN and selecting the servers with the best ping. For two people I spoke to worked to use Googles or Cloudflares DNS and turning off IPV6. You can also try to reset your IP via CMD / flush your DNS prior if you want to try that first

Sure. You will need to either delete a registry key or change the drive letter back to what it's looking for.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\EscapeFromTarkov is the key you need to delete. Make sure you back up your registry by creating a restore point first.

After that is deleted reboot and you should be able to install anywhere.

I assume your PC can handle the game? Is it on a HDD, SSD or NVME? You could check their health with some tools, maybe one of them (if applicable) has some issues with the speed. If that's not the problem, make sure nothing heavy is running in the background that eats up your whole PC and turn on "Game mode" if you're using Windows 10, plus hardware acceleration. Also, try to play around with the graphic settings and take at some configs on reddit or so. There are multiple threads with "best settings 2021" with loads of upvotes.

Yes it can handle it perfectly fine. Before the update I didn't have problems. It was on a HDD before (already checked, but it was ok), now i deinstalled it and installed it on my SSD which is also perfectly fine, because I thought maybe a new installation would help, but it didn't. Nothing heavy is running in the background and before the update I didn't have that problem. I can't even come fast into the launcher, because it needs about 10 minutes. When I start the game, its again about 5-10mins "Loading Profile Data". And within the next 5-10 minutes the trader etc. also are visible again, but its all taking a very long long time. In Raid I have no problems at all with my ping or something else, it works perfectly. Just after the raid, when I am loading into the menu its loading ages again

If it doesn't work now after scanning your drive for errors and potentially fixing it, you can still try to boot up in safe mode and then try to run the scannow command. If that doesn't work, well, there's not much else you can do. It's not good if you can't access such a folder, especially if it's corrupted, you'll have more problems in the future.

This could be because of your corrupted Windows files preventing the game to work properly, as they were not repaired when you ran scannow. So either you repair Windows and see if it works again or what you can do (assuming you've tried to verify integrity of game files already), see if GeForce Experience or the AMD software made some changes to the game trying to optimize it. If so, revert the settings it made. Or your last resort, re-install the game.

If the game path in the launcher settings is now this EFT folder, then it'll take time as the files need to be downloaded first and then get extracted, so you won't see them immediately. Unless it get's installed somewhere else now, this should be the location where the files will be once it's finished.
