Recently I tried to move tarkov from my hdd to my ssd. I started by completely uninstalling all tarkov related files I could find, including the launcher. I then reinstalled everything onto the ssd, but when the download finished, the launcher reverted to saying "install" as if i had never downloaded it. The ssd had about 20 less gb avalible, so i know it downloaded somewhere, but after trying to "set the path to an existing directory" for about 20 minutes, i ran out of ideas. I've been working on this for 3 days now and really need some help

There is a registry key that needs to go. I would suggest ccleaner and use the "delete" option instead of uninstalling it, and it should let you install it correctly again.

There will be a list of installed programs, click the delete option instead of uninstalling it in ccleaner.

Go into your Adapter settings for your network>>Right click and "Properties">>Look for "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)" and click on "Properties" again>>Down below, input a DNS address yourself. I've used Googles DNS, which is 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4, but you can also try to use Cloudflares, which is 2x 1.1.1.1.

Then open the EFT launcher and just to make sure, clear your cache again. Afterwards, click on "Change server" and select 5 server / regions of your choice, preferably the ones with the best ping, which you can filter by clicking on "Ping". Apply and then give it a shot, it worked for me now every time I went into a raid.`

Fresh Windows 10 Pro (One ssd), Fresh EFT install (another ssd), 32gb 3200mhz (CL14), 8700k & 2080 Ti (asus rog strix OC). Playing on 1440p144hz.
Getting around 60-75fps all maps (feels like 30ish), around 100 on Factory. Currently using latest nvidia drivers, but I have tried downgrading as well. Tried setting Reflex to Off, on and on with boost without budging the fps.

It's everywhere. Some spots give higher, but not much. And I'm not on Max settings.
Going offline mode gives me a solid 144fps everywhere, no exception. Offline mode with low amount of scavs give better performance than online.

About the scrolling randomly, Can you try another user profile in windows? If not, try signing out and in while the PC is on, to see if that stops it. Then try reinstalling all mice drivers and try another USB port.

I'll try this once I get home from work but I have little hope that it will have any more effect then restarting my PC. I was killed a few times just last night trying to loot helmets, headsets, mags, and armor off raiders I killed with my buddies on reserve. Then reopen the launcher and you should be able to install.

after that make sure you have a good amount of free space left on the drive you have the game installed on.
keep in mind this might not work for everyone, but it did work for me

If that does not work, uninstall the game (or move the installation to save it, and attempt to uninstall it and click to remove from the list) and launcher and then you will need to delete two registry entries. CCleaner just makes this step easier.

First, before doing this, go to start > type create a restore point and make one. Create button.

Then go to start > type regedit and open registry edit

In the bar at the very top paste this

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\EscapeFromTarkov

And on the left side find the folder key "escape from tarkov" end delete that. It should already be highlighted

And then go here

And on the left side delete {B0FDA062-7581-4D67-B085-C4E7C358037F}_is1 which should be highlighted.

On the right side you should see the install locations for the game and launcher.

After those are deleted reboot and install the launcher and the game should install regularly.

Yes, VSYNC is about screen tearing but it'll have a bad impact on your performance. I've it disabled and don't notice any screen tearing tbh. It'll cap your fps to your monitors refresh rate

Well, do you've any problems with latency in games in any way? If not, turn it off as well. Also, you can try to boost your FPS by enabling game mode if you've Windows 10, or hardware accelerating.

That check mark means found in raid. If those mags were brought in by another PMC then they aren’t found in raid. Found in raid only applies to the first time an item leaves a raid after it spawned on a map.
