you get specifically what is insured. so if the gear is insured you get the gear but not the bag, assuming nobody finds and loots it

also if you have a gun insured then change some parts without re insuring you wont get the uninsured parts back

2 - open the EFT launcher and find what directory the game is configured to install to by going into "SETTINGS" at the top and scrolling down to "Game Directory"

5 - go to where the file was downloaded and right-click on the file (dont double click) and choose "extract all" not 7zip or winrar or anything.
6 - browse to the install directory that you got from the launcher and previously cleared out and choose extract
7 - open the launcher and see if the game will now run.

Hi, I recently started playing EFT in 0.12.8/9 and got around 100-120 FPS in any map, but now after the latest update 0.12.10 my game has become super laggy jumping up and down between 80 and 10 FPS. It sometimes even stops completely for 10-20 seconds. Does anyone else have this issue or even a fix?

I've tried clearing my game cache, reinstalled the game, updated my drivers and ofc restarted both the game and my PC.

Specs: NVIDIA 1070 Ti 8GB, Intel i7 7700K processor, 16GB 2200 RAM and a nVME 512GB HD.

Did you link your tarkov account with your twitch account? If you did you need to go claim them on twitch via clicking on your profile and choosing "Drops" in the popup list and through there you should be able to claim them if im right.

I mean, the way people have to get and buy the game is ludicrous. The vast amount of somewhat buggy captchas and the very method to actually buy the game. Being forced to check your bank account history, not all banks even offer that capability causing a drive out to the local bank if that's possible. Sorry but no gaming service has ever done something like that I've seen. The fact there isn't any type of refund capability, I know it's not allowed. I've read the terms and it's really not a good practice Not saying I personally want to refund but for other people, I'm sure some would. Being put onto Steam or even Epic would help bring in a massive amount of new players to your game I'm sure.

2: Stop the update -> Restart launcher -> Start update again

would it be wrong to suggest if you get dc'd because of a problem out of your own hands, you should be removed from the raid with the gear you took in, but without the loot/exp you gained. as a sort of compromise seeing as it isn't your fault

im looking at the server list for all the servers in EU and the last two minutes they've all been sat above 120ms, massive fluctuations for some too with even the London server (my closest) jumping between 200-500, whilst NL server is 80-150 and Finland (very far away) is most stable around 110

anyone have any tips for purchasing the game, I made a ticket to eft on the website but they sent me to contact xsolla, and xsolla has the error listed but only provides refund support from it. Is there any workaround to going through xsolla and buying the game by another means? If I try to load into raid at night on a PMC alone, it works every time. If I try to load into raid at night with anyone else in my party it kicks me after loading the map. Does anyone else have this issue, and does anyone know a fix?

@toxic rock This worked for me, and a few others, for not receiving the email confirmation for login on the launcher:

  1. Close the BSG launcher
  2. On your hard drive, go to "C:\Users\YOUR USERNAME\AppData\Local", rename the "Battlestate Games" folder to something else (I called mine "Battlestate games - old") or delete it
  3. Go to where you have the launcher installed and delete everything in the "Temp" folder
  4. Open the launcher again and try to log in.

I got an email straight away with the confirmation code after this.

The other solution people have tried is just requesting the validation code over and over again or contacting their email provider.

Anybody else have issue when using Wireless internet? I.E. T-mobile 5/4G home internet. Bonded DSL is fine, but Tarkov HATEs the 4/5g unless I buffer through a VPN. A couple of others on Reddit have run into the same thing it seems. Tarkov Support is typically "Meh" about it as it's a edge case issue and low priority for obvious reasons, but would be nice not to have to play through a VPN.

So broad daylight in customs i found 3 scav Ai that confused the fuck out of me. 1 tried to melee me ran after I shot them and they died another scav was crouched and went prone i thought these 2 were players i walked up to him and shot him he got up i shot him again don't know if I killed him and then I got killed by the 3rd scav using 7.62 Bp. I never encountered a scav Ai try to melee me then run away after shot. It wasn't night time in the raid either. The raid startes out as a daytime raid too. I thought maybe they were cultist but they didn't have silent guns hell only had 1 of the 3 scavs had guns. There are no player scavs because the raid was 5mins in and I remember it looking like a combat knife not a cultist knife

Has anyone else noticed 3 scavs at crack house? 2 with knives and 1 with a gun around crackhouse?

That answers the aim of the scav but why did the other 2 scavs only have knives and why did 1 run up to my trting to stab me and the other 1 try to prone and hide?

My game yesterday just broke down. It was all fine until yesterday tonight. As soon as I enter in the game(profile) it bugs out, it loads frame by frame, it's so slow. It takes around 7+min to load in and when I do load in I get an instant lost connection error or if I'm lucky I do load in but the game is unbearable, loads frame by frame. I tried restarting my router, deleting and reinstalling the game, restart my PC, restart the game. Nothing worked. Any idea what happened because I'm out of options?
All I got from support is game is under development and get more RAM.

dude why does my battlestate games launcher have a critical error and not let me repair the files, i have to delete and reinstall and it happens so much, ive reinstalled atleast 20 times since ive bought the game. is there a way to avoid this

Not sure where i should be posting a error, i did send one just via the launcher, but when attempting to say something on forums, i got redirected to the discord.

I am gonna start by noting I am a new player, only been playing about a week, so if this is something that has already been brought up, i apologize, but i doubt it as it is a very particular error.

So I run Lian-Li Unifans in my system, and it appears that something in that software caused a crash during my game. Error had something to do with attempting to run an illegal execution or something, which was kind of unnerving to read, but it is what it is. It's not entirely game breaking, but for those who do run that software it can be very frustrating. I run in to a similar error with Apex, and have continued to have the problem since launch day, but for that game, the software issue comes from Aura, not L-Connect. Still a frustrating thing for the communities running those pieces of software on their systems.

Again, not game breaking, and also probably not the place to voice the concern, but wasn't sure where else, and chat here seemed to be very general and vary greatly, including posts discussing game concerns, so here i am.

This is going to sound like very irregular thing but items in my game have different appearences. Bp rounds show up as a ak, sur12 look like comtacs and esmarchs show up as a nvg map along with rigs and some other things looking different. Any idea on how to fix

when using the preset gun modding table does it only use gun parts/attachments from ur current level traders or does it use flea market? srry im new and having trouble

@dreamy quail : It uses stuff you have examined , stuff found in raid or through a trader, or possibly found off another pmc's gun. not locked by lvl or trader. You can scroll through the flee and examine gun parts for particular weapons to help build or modify them. Use the linked search to help find parts.

Yes, it will use the cheaper options, as in, some parts might be from a trader and some from ppl on the flee, make sure to change the filter at the top after clicking on assemble, to view parts from both parties.

coming back to tarkov after a 4 month break, and now i get about 3fps when i walk around and it crashes every other time i try to load a raid. i checked the integrity of the game files and it say everythings normal. should i just try to uninstall then reinstall the game?

@static shell : Uninstall and reinstall is always the best option to insure correct files and set up. After an update it could be settings that you have changed, might need to reevaluate settings and check hardware to verify it is not your PC before thinking it is tarkov.

ive been playing for over a year on the highest graphic settings without problems so i dont think its my hardware

@vivid briar : Full uninstall most likely. Have you checked integrity of game files ?

@static shell : I understand that, can you lower the settings and try again. Its not that i do not believe ur settings are wrong, simply trying to find were the problem might be. can you lower the settings and it still run bad ?

i have them set to the lowest and its still bad. even the menu is slow and switching between tarkov and my desktop feels like it gives my computer a stroke. im going to try and reinstall it

@static shell : That could be game related if its doing it in the menu. Other games run normally and ur cpu/ gpu show normal amount of usage when on other games ?

anyone know how to fix the bug where you just cant shoot?

example, i get hit, i shoot back, i reload, i cant shoot, no click sound or anything, for sure a full mag in my gun just doesnt register

I made an account for a friend and went to buy him a standard version of the game as a surprise gift but accidentally downgraded my EOD account when I thought I was still logged into their account, now I'm freaking out a bit

i reinstalled tarkov but its still playing just as bad

nevermind, i found an answer online where all i had to do was switch from fullscreen to borderless and now its working perfectly

for some reason now its only taking 20% memory ingame

@shut holly try going into settings and switching from fullscreen to borderless, and turn down your graphics. It helped me for a short time but im still laggier than im used to
