Hi, I was false banned on Tarkov and I believe it is because I had VMWare open doing school work while I was checking my hideout crafts. I never received an email saying why I got banned. The only information I have is that when I try signing in on the launcher it says "Your account has been permanently blocked.
ERROR: 229" Can anyone shed some light on this situation? I contacted support and they told me to contact BattleEye and I emailed them twice without a response yet. I was banned on February 3rd so 13days have passed and I have still not been able to resolve this issue.

In the launcher on the account that I purchased the game on, it is saying the game has not been purchased. I have had some email correspondence and the support guys have advised me to report this bug through the launcher so they can verify my account details. yet on my launcher the option to report a bug is greyed out.

Guys I need some clarification. I currently have the standard edition, but I was thinking about upgrading to the left behind or prepare for escape editions.
I've read around that after upgrading I'd have to reset my account to get the additional stuff. All of the things I read about this were for around 2018. Has it changed in the meantime?

I'm mainly interested in the stash and the secure container upgrade. Do I need to reset to get only these as well??

When you upgrade you recieve some of the extra items. When I upgraded to the left behind edition I got a message from the system containing some items from the upgrade, but Im not sure how that would work with the prepare for escape edition.

Nothing against you bro, but I have played multiple different games with him and he plays with 16 gigs just fine idk if theres an issue with your pc or what your ram settings are set to but he's never had issues with playing games on his 16 gig ram

you're not the only one having issues like that i'm fairly certain it's an issue caused by lagg/ packet loss. i've been having lots of issues where i spray a dude down both pmc and scav and the game just eats the rounds. fences are notorious for eating rounds but as of the past few weeks it seems like thin air is starting to do the same.

Constant crashes while loading into reserve, every other map loads fine. Only crashes around 33% of the time upon loading into the map, no other time throughout the raid. Every other map loads perfectly fine and quickly. I have 16 GB of ram @ 2666 MHz, 2 TB HDD (Loads really fast though), GTX 1080, and an Intel I7-8700k.

ok so what i am saying is copied exactly from the game, I hit this guy 9 times with BS 5.45x39 bullets, which should pen all armor easily except for level 6, which would then take a few shots. The GAME says i hit him 9 times, his armour absorbed 23 damage and i did 72 damage to him

@buoyant kite a quick google shows that it’s a common problem with battleye and there are a bunch of potential fixes. That file is a windows file unrelated to tarkov so reinstalling the game isn’t going to do anything

its the game @young bear its the servers being absolute shit right now. between desync, server side ping spikes and overall lag, the game isnt good to play right now. been playing all night and wasnt this bad and all of a sudden its shit. that happened to me earlier, and i try to reconnect and it said game completed or aborted. out of 20 raids i did today, i lagged out of 4, died to desync 6 times. so about 50% of my deaths are impossible to avoid if i want to play.

Yeah, once whatever is happening happens. Everytime i click the launcher, the option play is replaced with install. If i got into the folders and try and launch EFT LIVE it goes to game but never gets my profile data. So then i have to uninstall both launcher and game and reinstall then i can play again.

Why do scavs never seem to spawn properly in offline mode, a few weeks ago they used to spawn 50/50 of the time but now they never seem to spawn.

hello ; in short i put eft to download overnight, when i woke up it was 70% but was downloading with 11-20 kbs, i restarted client bc i have 1 mb download and the download status reset, but now i see in my temp folder 8 gb file, can i do something?

Hello everyone, my PC is
i5-7400

16gb RAM(2x8) 2400MHz

The question is, why does the game uses only 6-7gb of ram on reserve? I tried enabling Virtual Memory, set it to 20GB on my SSD then my performance on reserve got reduced by ~10-12 frames, and that was the point when ram usage dropped to 6.

Disabled Virtual Memory as it was by default, but game still uses 6gb of ram (just played a raid, fps is normal again, but ram usage is still low) haven't noticed freezes / stutters yet, before all of it game used to use 15 (sometimes even 16) gigs of ram on reserve, and 8gb in main menu(now its 2)

And now I wonder if it's fine and should be like this, or I am kinda screwed up

@noble island That's actually a new one for me to see as well, the only things I can suggest here is to do the old cache clearing for Tarkov and see if that has anything to do with it and then just double check your Bios to ensure there's nothing wrong wtih your ram. If that's all clear then it's just the game
