I updated my BIOS yesterday, now I'm unable to sign into the game. It says it's sent me an email with a confirmation code, but I get no email. Can get a password reset email, but not this fucking confirmation code. Oh, I can log into the website, just fine, using my Google Authenticator code, which I set up as 2-factor authentication, but for whatever fucking reason, it doesn't use THAT two-factor authentication that WORKS when I sign into the BattleState Game Launcher. Can we PLEASE get this fucking thing fixed??!

There was an update and now when i go to install the update it tells me the file is being used by another program. i tried a couple other things and sometimes itll tell me that the file integrity was comprimised a complete reinstall is required so i try to repair or reinstall and its still not working this is the third time ive had issues in the last 5 days what is going on with tarkov?

So I don't really know, but... Somewhere, Tarkov downloads some files, and those are, for whatever reason, corrupt. They MAY download to a temporary location, so... Open a File Explorer windows (Win+E), and in the address bar, type %TEMP%

You may see the files there, but I'm not really sure if that's where it's going to download to. Only a guess, sorry!

Actually... I just looked there and found this! You can try deleting the directory Battlestate Games in there. 🙂

Yeah, try this. Close out of the launcher, then delete %TEMP%\Battlestate Games and then finally restart the launcher.

Hopefully that will clear out the temporary downloaded files. Not 100% on that, as I'm not the dev, but it would make sense. 🙂

Hello I have a question. Originally with a pre-built pc with Realtek installed. My tarkov sounded amazing, I played 500 hours and developed a dependency on that tone of audio. After a windows update Realtek installed bad drivers. Eventually I reinstalled the right driver and was fine. I forgot to document what my build numbers were. I've recently installed a new motherboard that did not come with Realtek and tarkov has never sounded so horrible. My own footsteps seem miles away and interface clicks are extremely off. Basically my question is for people using Realtek. What driver build are you currently using and if so have you ever had problems between drivers with tarkov audio?

Be sure to allow BsgLauncher.exe through both the public and private firewall ( go to Windows Defender and Fire wall > Allow an app or feature through Windows Defender Firewall > Change settings (top right) > Scroll down to BsgLauncher.exe and ensure both private and public are ticked.)

Allow it at a exception in the virus scan protection in the windows Virus and Threat protection ( go to Virus and threat protection > manage settings (under Virus and threat protection settings) > scroll down to exclusions > click add or remove exclusions > Add an Exclusion > File > then find BsgLauncher.exe and allow it through)

Still there are loads of people unable to login because of the ongoing email issue and BSG aren't giving us any updates regarding it!

Their support is USELESS.

I ask them to change my email address from X to Y

they reply "change your email in the profile page"

I respond saying I cant because its greyed out, can you give me access or change the address to my gmail instead?

I either get instantly disconnected ("Server connection lost") even though my internet is fine, everything else works (voice chat for example) fine and I don't even get the ping warning (top right corner) most of the time (the times I do get it, it's short term and for 90 ping).
Sometimes, I even manage to actually connect into a raid where I can't move, can only run/crouch in place, can't even check time left in raid and get disconnected after about 5 seconds.
It's seriously getting ridiculous, this is the first time I've ever had an issue like this and it's only in EFT.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, either via DMs or a message reply/ping.

I understand that people are having issues in game with things but theres still people out here who purchased the game that cant recieve an email, dont have an install button on the website to download the launcher or cant download the launcher at all (this was my problem and used a vpn to get it to download), and finally which is now my current issue is that i cant even play the game because it wont allow me to install the game at all i get errors like the file is being used by another process or checksum errors. Everything reguarding my antivirus and firewall is all turned off, ive deleted the appdata using %appdata% still nothing. A couple of days ago I upgraded my PC from a GTX 560 TI to a 3070.
I thought my game is not finally able to run better, but since then I can't run it at all.

The game boots very normally, all the settings seem to apply but if I want to load into a game (any map, offline mode) my game crashes. (After loading the Map or early in loot loading)

I tried every game preset, and made my settings as low as possible.
I did not try to uninstall and reinstall bc of the time it takes for me.
My Drives are up to date and clean installed via DDU.

My specs:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X
GPU: Nvidia RTX 3070
Power supply: be quiet 650 watt
Motherboard: MSI x570-A PRO
RAM: 16GIG DDR4

Gmail user here. I was not getting the codes and I tried the firewall thing and run as admin that others were suggesting. I was getting the codes to my email in browser but not in the launcher. I set up the authenticator app, single use codes and back up email. I switched the method to back up email. None of these things appeared to work. I then tried logging in using my username rather than my email in the launcher and I got the code to my main Gmail right away. Hope this helps.

Anybody able to help me with a refresh rate issue? Keep in mind I play other games just fine at 144hz, but only have issues with this game.

Tarkov Won’t Run at anything above 60hz.
I’ve followed multiple guides telling me how to fix this issue. Everything I’ve tried says it should be running at 144hz, but the game just isn’t running smoothly, it’s very noticeable. I have multiple friends playing on 144hz with no issues. I have a 165hz monitor that I play on, and a second monitor that runs on 75hz. My friend has the same dual monitor setup and has no issues.
I’ve changed the local.ini refresh rate to 144 and changed it to read only, still doesn’t look the way that it should.
I’ve tried creating my own custom 1920x1079 resolution with 144hz refresh rate on the NVIDIA control panel and setting the resolution to the custom in-game, still nothing.
Please let me know if anybody else has had any issues with this and knows of a fix, I’m stumped.

So I had the same issue with the verification code not coming in, the way I fixed it just now is that I change my password through the website. Then right after the password was changed I logged back into the launcher with the new password. That was the only time I got the email.

Check that you dont have hardware acceleration enabled on discord.. settings > appearance.

also set discord to a lower priority.

You should get task manager up on a second screen if you have one and see what piece of hardware is being throttled. I imagine its probably your GPU, have you checked your temps?

if you got banned by battleye before, you will still be banned if you log on to that IP, because they will ban your IP

Only thing i can think of is the game picking up a external crosshair overlay i used for GTAV FiveM, but like still.. that doesnt make sense to get a profile banned

Hello, I have a friend who is very fond of the location "laboratory", he really wanted all the keys to this location, and he always ran to it. I earned money at various locations, then went to a flea market, and bought some keys to this location, since my friend could not do it at that time. Then, as he returned, I gave him these keys out of friendship, since I myself rarely run to this location, I decided that he would need these keys more, and because of this I got a temporary block. Gmail user here. I was not getting the codes and I tried the firewall thing and run as admin that others were suggesting. I was getting the codes to my email in browser but not in the launcher. I set up the authenticator app, single use codes and back up email. I switched the method to back up email. None of these things appeared to work. I then tried logging in using my username rather than my email in the launcher and I got the code to my main Gmail right away. Hope this helps.
