Hey, so. I was playing earlier and was sitting in my stash, then I got some weird ass error that i could scroll through, didn't really look at it. The two options were copy to clipboard and close the game. I hit copy and closed and assumed I'd be able to just restart the game. NOPE. I cant even get to the launcher now. When i launch it just says "Cannot establish server connection." I've tried restarting my pc, internet, updating drivers, etc.

Servers are based on your location to them so go on the server list and check the ones with like below 60 ping it’s dependant on what you personally think is playable

@severe copper It is a common issue, I am having the same issue myself, bsg say that if you can change your email provider to gmail it should work. The only way to change your email is to email support regarding the issue

This is the battle I am currently fighting, The support times are longer at the moment due to the wipe ect. maybe @sweet delta or a member of the community management/representative team could shed some extra light on this issue as it is causing a lot of ill will towards the game. @spark lance yes and those pinned messages don't assist in getting the actual issue fixed. they don't let you change the password through the website (which could help solve the problem quickly) and yes i know they have a reason for not allowing email changes through the website but it doesn't change the fact that many of us have bought the game and have had it rendered unplayable through no fault of our own. This has also been going on longer than is really acceptable.

Also, please remember that code only works for 30 minutes, after which you will need to request a new one.
In order to receive our notices, you need to do the following:

  • Check the spelling of the e-mail address when registering the account;
  • Check the folder "Spam" - a letter by mistake could get there;
  • Wait at least 5 minutes - the letter does not come instantly;
  • Add the sender's address to the whitelist of the mailbox no-reply@escapefromtarkov.com;
  • If you use e-mail client, then perhaps your antivirus blocks letter. Try to temporarily disable it.

You can request a refund via xsolla where you bought it. I requested a refund earlier today since it's useless to wait for a response from support. It's now been 8 days since my first ticket and my first email to support and i have received nothing.
It's just very sad that an entire company doesn't get it together to handle some simple tickets. I understand that the workload over the holidays is more, but no one should wait a week or more for simple things like changing email or receiving an authentication code.
I won't be buying the game again even if it someday is out of beta for the shear fact that the customer is the wackest i have ever seen.

Or you start a ticket that will tell you to change your email and put the info they want on the ticket which is a bit faster and more likely to work from what ive seen but itll take a week at least either way

first try to log in, if you got the code from the first time then you won't need that guide. If not, then reboot your pc and proceed to the step 2
try to ask for some shit on their site for confirmation code ( i pressed "security settings")
and now after you restarted your pc try to log in again, most likely that you will receive a message with the code

yeah if it's gmx or something it's a wider issue with email provider. He might be able to get support to change his email to another one, idk. If he's like me and having gmail issues then at least I'm not alone in my boat but idk how to help

Void it says the key is only able to be activated for the event. That event has expired so the key issued has probably been removed

email the support and wait a week or two and maybe it'll be fixed. They might be able to change your email if you are using gmx or another german email provider and that might fix it. Otherwise you might just be screwed

allow or require 2FA google authentication. You can still login to the forum account without an email verification and enable 2FA as well as security questions

I was getting promotional emails from BSG up to their Black Friday event, so any technical problems with my gmail happened within the past month I think. I haven't changed anything so it was with BSG or gmail

that was server issues rather than email issues. The email issues for the majority seem to be that email providers, especially german ones, blacklist the tarkov email IP. I dunno what the issue is in my case (gmail) or other email providers like yahoo, whether it's the same or something special
