hey guys so ive already done the server selecting part to decrease my queue time when matchmaking but it still seems to run a bit slow
I used to spawn in within like 2 mins tops on customs, now it takes me 4 mins to queue. Hey all, anytime I load in to a game my ping shoots up to 400+ and kicks me out almost immediately, I have done everything in my power to try to fix this, and it’s the only game it happens with. I have checked all my servers in the launcher, checked for updates, cleared cache, and done lots of network troubleshooting. I have come to the conclusion it is in fact EFT causing it. It was only running off of 4 cores out of 7. And I just changed a few setting in my nvidia control panel. I hope that helps with my stuttering and rubberbanding. It’s so bad right now that I honestly can’t play.

It was his old pc, he built it from a couple old laptops I guess, but it works great, especially for my wife when she plays WoW and Skyrim. Struggles a little on EFT but on low setting I still average 45-55fps. He’s in the process of building a higher end of for me right now as a Christmas present.

@turbid garden no, everything you bring into an offline raid will remain on your body if you die or go MIA. Vice Versa goes for any loot you take out, you do not get to keep it.

Hey so I've tried reinstalling Tarkov, and every time when the game tries to finalize the files, it says that the game is being use by another process and then forces me to repair the files. After attempting to repair the files, I need to reinstall the game and the same message pops up.

I am new to PC and new to this game. I don't know much about it, but this is one of the reason I decided to switch from console to PC. I struggle with anxiety and depression, but would love to learn this game. I haven't even played it yet just because I read how much of a learning curve it is with people who are familiar with these games, let alone someone like me who knows nothing about guns or any of that. Hey everyone, i bought Tarkov a month ago and as of recently i kept getting an error telling me to redownload the game. Yesterday when this happened i deleted every single file relating to tarkov and battlestate games then tried to download it again but got the checksum error. I tried to download it 4 more times but i just kept getting the checksum error. I even tried to download the game to another harddrive but still made no progress. One thing i noticed was that the folder i select for the download doesn't actually increase in size which makes me believe that the game isn't even being downloaded.
I would also like to note that my computer is brand new, and has no ssd issues or anything like that. I also turnt off my firewall for the download

I've just got an error on the launcher which has forced me to reinstall the game, but now the launcher is downloading really slowly, it seems to be capped at 2mb/s. I've checked and it isn't throttled so there's no reason for it to be so slow as other game launchers are downloading at normal speeds (so it isn't my internet). Does anyone have any idea why?

I just tried installing the game again today, and when it finished said I had a checksum issue and it couldn't be completed. I've tried on several other occasions and still get different errors and can't play. I'm extremely upset since I got the Edge of Darkness edition and that's not a cheap purchase to make.

I had this. Uninstall Tarkov complete checked all my drivers and then reinstalled from scratch. Worked fine. There is another fix where you stop it installing at 100% when it is checking the files. But I didn’t use that one.

No problems. If you know a friend who has it you can also copy it from his hardrive to your computer and then link the files( I did it when moving from laptop to desktop). Just depends if you know anyone irl who has it 👌
The problem it has is when it errors it just deletes the whole folder that it just downloaded. The other fix is too stop it checking what it downloaded at 100% then just trying to link it separately.

All my files from the game were still in my folder, and I tried deleting that but it wont let me, and one of the assets is blocking the launcher from repairing the download.

Set the path is where you link it to the folder that was installed usually
