Or maybe your anti virus checks the folder currently .... maybe you dont have the correct rights for the folder where tarkov is installed, try to delete the folder where you want to install tarkov and try it again.

The upgrade timer is done, but I cannot install it (I'm assuming because crafting is still going on). I have things that I need to start upgrading that require lavatory level 3, and would prefer to start those now rather than waiting for the crafting to finish because the next upgrades are 17 hours and I have 5 hours left on crafting 😦

@keen moth Just posting this here for posterity in case anyone else has this issue. Restarting the game (fully exiting out of game and launcher) has resolved this issue. I was able to install the upgrade after doing this, while the item is still crafting 🙂 .

On the awaiting/synchronizing issue (assuming you get stuck there when loading in), a streamer had this issue and it turned out to be an issue with bringing a dog tag case in. If you are having this issue and are carrying a dogtag case, try removing that from your inventory and then load in.

Options in the game settings to select the principle of displaying the combat interface elements (automatically hide or always show - quick access zone, endurance zone and the current stance and the current health state of body parts, all can be configured separately)

Same @weak kernel ....ever since the patch dropped I'm no longer to play reserve and the stutters are fucking horrendous, and any time I shoot/get shot at I'll freeze for x amount of seconds and am usually dead by the time it unfreezes. Shit is unplayable. Have a 8700, 1060 and 16GB of ram and my game is on a 500gb ssd, used to get well over 100 frames every game.

Generally yeah, I would say the one that will bring consistent "Profit" is the 7k one, but it's such a low down payment that it's hard to lose money on it anyways. I see the Scav Case more as entertainment than an actual way to make money as the majority of time you're going to lose money, although it is cool when you actually get an item that is worth something. Best practical use is to use Non-FIR intel as you'll defiantly make more money than just vendoring it.

Hey, I've been having issues with the performance of the game, ever since update 12.7 an now 12.8 came out I've noticed my fps drastically go down I've cleared the cache, reinstalled the game, reinstalled windows and follow a plethora of guides/youtube videos to improve the fps but the game still remains to stutter occasionally and give a varied frame rate which makes it difficult to play. before I continue I know this game is still in beta and I know there will still be multiple optimization patches and performance increases but I was just wondering if anyone could shed some light/tips as to how I can make the game run better

Hey Guys. I lowered my Graphic Setting in Tarkov to get somewhat competetive Frames, but now the Framerate has actually gotten worse. WIth the old Graphic Setting (Most Stuff at High) my GPU was at 100% usage and my RAM around 60-70%.
With the new, much lower Settings my GPU is around 30-40% usage and RAM usage is mostly the same. Yet for some reason the frames have gotten more unstable. What may be the cause? And how may i solve it?
Btw with high settings i was getting decent frames still, GPU didnt seem to be over its limit.

No matter what I do I get this error error file checksum. I have tried so many things to get this game to work and so far nothing has worked. I have tried force uninstalling all traces of the game and registry. I have tried disabling my anti-virus. Ran SFC/DISM tool and nothing. Updated and wiped out my GPU drivers which I highly doubt it had nothing to do with it but I gave it a shot anyways. I have put in the specific Tarkov DNS within my hosts file also nothing. I literary upgraded from standard edition to edge of darkness edition around 3 days ago and have yet to play. No words can explain how frustrated I am. Even contemplating reinstalling my whole operating system to get it work. It isnt ideal I know but im seriouly fed up with it. Tried reaching out directly to tech support and just get the run around. Its funny how I work in IT and im having so much trouble with this. I have no idea at this point what could get it to work besides reinstalling my OS. Maybe creating another user data profile but have yet to try it. Has anyone else expericnced as much grief with this game as much as I did. If anyone has a possible fix for this it would be much appreciated.

I imagine changes that were made this patch are the cause. Reserve has always been the most resource intensive map. It's possible the addition of dynamic loot has increased load times.

Here is a temporary solution for the peeps with "invite" issues
Get your friend to invite everyone in the team, then invite you, you restart the game, get back into the lobby, the leader cancels the invite, then invite again and you should be able to play a match
You have to repeat it after every raid

@fluid topaz I am having the same issue. The only "solution" is to map out the area being affected with a 1x1 item, so you know where not to put things. Other than that, we have to wait 'till BSG fixes it.

Stuttering issues every 5 seconds or so on every map. It was fine in 12.7. This makes the game unplayable for me. Very sad because I've played Tarkov for years and can't play it now to poor optimizations in a QoL patch which is supposed to improve performance. Anyone know a fix?

Why would it be fine?
You have less time to use the raid, you just spawned so you`re not well positioned, people might have already looted the important areas, people might already have left. It makes no sense, I cannot see a single way where latespawn is universally beneficial in comparison with a normal spawn. Late spawns shouldnt exist.

FIX the hackers PLS and the spawn timing. Spawning late with a 5 man on interchange to instantly die one second from spawning without a deploying screen. Isn't fun, at this point. Make an in game server browser with admins at each game. That's how much this update changed the game. It's more like the game gave up on me.

I figured out the solution to the issue having to RESTART your game after every raid to reconnect.
Solo queue up into any raid hit ready all that and then back out. It should reset your servers or whatever. Worked for me

hey, when I use 6 times scope it has two ranges to set, 4x and 6x I believe... for some reason when I zoom out into 4x everything I focus is blurred and everything around the scope is clean! Is that a bug or smth? Shouldnt it be vice versa?
I think even LOD kicks in in the scope instead of around...

For like half a year I have had this annoying bug with the flea market
Whenever I sell something, it sells, but my offers don't clear and I am stuck with 5/5 offers until i either restart my game or get out of a raid again.
I am like the only one who keeps getting it, friends and others never seem to have that same issue, at least in the same magnitude as I've got.

Uninstall-Reinstall;
Restart Clear Cache after every raid;
Deleting all Temp Files;
Emptying my gamma and running a raid then going into a normal raid with kit (works sometimes)

Hello, its personally really annoying when I matchmake with a friend in tarkov, he owns a HDD and I own a SSD and every time he is not even half way loading map when I have already found a match and deploying into it... I cant count the amount of times I died trying to wait for my friend to play with him, there is no point of me leaving as we are a team and wanna play the game together...
Is there a way I can make it so that the matching starts if and only if all players in my party have loaded map? it will at least save that aspect of time as loot doesnt make that much of a difference; i'd be fun if I could make it so it only can find a match while all party members have map loaded in and are matching. Its really annoying me now and I lost countless raids of fun with my friend because I have to wait 5 minutes for him to load in map while I wait for him, please help.

so in my past raid i died horribly and my mate brought all my stuff in the next raid, he dropped my backpack, i searched it and we played as normal though 5 minutes before the raid ended it made me ''search'' my backpack again but it was infinately searching so we just extracted. i went to my inventory and searched my backpack and put all my gear away and when i went back inside of it all my gear i put away was as normal but i think the loot lagged and duplicated itself so i searched the backpack again and everything was there, i put it all away again assuming i was going to get a backend error or something after about 5 minutes the error happened and 3 of the items got taken away so i went back in my inventory and my backpack was searchable again... i took all the loot out wondering if its just an endless loop then i restarted my game. all the loot from the past 3 backpack duplicates are there and after 20 minutes theres no backend error

I had 30gb remaining on my drive (i know im bad at managing space lol im getting a hhd soon) but wanted to download tarkov (19gb), but right at the end after it downloads evrything it gives me an error message saying that my C: drive is full. When I go to check I have only 6gb remaining. Im not sure why its giving me that error and taking more than 19gb. For a workaround, I tried to download it to a media hard drive I have and move it over, but every time the download reaches 9-11gb, it gives an error message saying that my C: drive is full even though I selected a folder on my D: drive.
