Honestly no idea, I don't use nvidia. But from personal experience no matter what card, you just leave all settings at app controlled by default and then adjust inside the game. No one, AMD, Nvidia, Intel, aftemarket, etc has yet made a decent all round application. It's alway sbest to just use the in gave stuff, stick your stuff mid range in the games settings and then adjust the post FX to your liking

So, whenever I play tarkov and I for example load into reserve sometimes the brightness will be perfect and just as bright as it should be and other days it will be pitch black in certain places that otherwise are dark but visible normally. This bug has just gotten me killed because I couldn't see a damn thing in the underground part of reserve and there was nothing I could do, I straight up would randomly move in directions and look around until I saw a light to go to. When the brightness is normal I can see fine. So basically some days that I play tarkov the brightness will be pitch black and some days its normal, I don't know if this is a tarkov settings problem or something with my computer but help would be appreciated. It is overall really annoying and even just yesterday my brightness was fine but now its not. Please help

@quaint crest A couple of issues, it could be that your Hard Drive isn't quick enough to load in to the game in time. We always recommend an SSD and to ensure that said drive is only for games not for running windows as well.
The other issue could be your server selection, ensure you select the top three servers to you in the launcher and the adjust as needed

I'm trying to install tarkov but it's not working, I have my main pc that I already have it on and my laptop (alienware) that I'm trying to install it on so I can get some money runs in on the go. Whenever I click install it shows the page where it allows you to enable automatic updates, and when I click confirm it just makes the install button stutter for a moment and then not install it. I've tried everything from deleting the game to reinstalling it to creating new folders with the exact names of the ones in the videos and none of them work.

I installed Synergy last week that runs as a background process (no icons). Which is a software KVM, it screwed everything up it seems. Ive been forcing tarkov to download over to E drive which has worked perfectly fine for the past year until yesterday it had random crashing issues and forced two different BSOD and a few other issues. After I fixed the original one I could open tarkov do my hideout and whatever but after it was open for so long or if I tried to join a raid it'd BSOD for memory management so I wiped the harddrives and have been trying new

@grim dagger I assume BSG will be working with BE to resolve the false positive bans. BSG support has not been able to work any tickets in months since they decided to make ticket creation the default option on game not terminating properly. As such making a ticket with them is entirely pointless. You can try to make a ticket with BattleEye but generally speaking they will have to find the cause for false positives and revoke all bans issued because of it. There is literally nothing you can do right now. Bad f'ing news!
@vocal blade Can you play any other games under load? BSOD usually does point to a hardware malfunction. Win10 is hard to BSOD with application level faults.

I've run into some issues that I would really like help fixing if at all possible. I keep getting really really high CPU usage from Tarkov as of only recent and its causing many frequent frame drops and even within the menu and hideout I get some really huge fps drops, which is weird because even in game they're not as bad, and I'm not sure why. It's definitely not unplayable but it's pretty bad and I know for a fact I can run this game just fine and well. I was just wondering if anybody had any problems like this or any fixes to it. I can provide specs and settings if those help at all.

Im still stuttering and occasionally fully freezing for 2-6 seconds to where i have to resort to tabbing out and in. These stutters have got me killed about 30 times thus far and ive lost about 2-7mill in inventory due to random stutters or freezing during gun fights or randomly being shot while standing still due to the freeze.

FYI: They randomly start at random intervals of the day. Sometimes the stutters and freezes just dont happen after i restart the game.
Some days i can play with only minor stutters at non-important parts and some days i cant even play the game due to constant stuttering while in-raid. These stutters happen on every map even factory at times.
I even get freezes or stutters in the main menu or when transitioning to hideout.
Last "Fix" i was told was to up my game settings as i was playing on the fully lowest settings.

i have a question, will you improve the general performance of the game time to time. i am mainly speaking about fps, i can play other games at around 150+ fps which have similar graphics and in this game i get 60 - 90fps with bad (theyre best to play) graphics

There's a login bug where after you enter your e-mail and password it starts loading the launcher then sends you back to the login screen. Resetting my password fixed the problem (even though incorrect email and password wasn't the problem), so if you're experiencing the same issue I suggest trying that.

@spring fog When moving between major revisions the game will naturally become unstable no game get's around this, we have to wait for these instabilities to be nearly all squashed before 12.8 can be dropped and the major revision pushed entirely
@frosty fern EU has always been a bad place for packet loss, I'd recommend you adjust your server selection and see if you can find a better location even if it's a little further away

If both come clean, then it'll be down to a connecxtion throttle

@empty hearth if this happened for every raid i would say could be a battleye not being updated issue. i had this problem before when i first got the game, B.E. refused to update and everytime i got in a raid id get kicked after 5 or 10 seconds. but if you can play factory then idk. also i have no input on it crashing discord. theres many factors that i dont know

issue is the endurance and strenght levels.... if they set eft to a set speed then it would be easy to instantly ban people mid game.

Yes, that will be factored in. So for example if max speed is 10 with max strength and stamina + Stims, anyone moving over 10 will be d/ced. Think of it like a max cap with max buffs
