I re-installed the game last night and now I can't do barter trades. It just shows that i have 0/x for everything. I've crafted some in hideout bought some new ones and nothing shows up. I have also restarted done a raid etc.

@fleet shore ur CPU probably bottlenecks ur GPU. I don´t think u can do anything about it besides maybe trying different ingame settings (there are good videos on youtube). I would suggest u to upgrade ur CPU when the new AMD CPU are out AMD 4000 series later this year... i also have a GTX 1070 and can play tarkov at 55-70 FPS with a 3440x1440 resolution.
Edit: also because i think the new map will be massive u should also get new RAM´s (preferably dual channel 16 GB)

Hey anyone that’s having problems connecting to maps I have a little bit of advice that is a short time fix, just exit tarkov after every raid (or before) and go to the launcher and clear cache, this seems to bring my 5 minute wait times to around 2:40 hope this can help someone 🙂

Now getting this error when reinstalling. Which launcher or site do I have to use to get a working executable?
Because now I had an issue to install the launcher, then an issue to relaunch the game, now an issue reinstalling after the game corrupted itself.

I just did a raid and it put the time to 4 minutes. It said I would get a survive if I extract but when I checked it still counted as a run through.

Yeah, its a bug, report it via the launcher when you have a chance. It only happens rarely for me but I noticed it usually happens if I am recording before actually deploying. It totally breaks nVidia shadowplay and I need to reboot before I can record anything again.

@humble sedge I reinstalled not because of eft. It was just to restore(uninstall junk). Fixed by turning of overlay completely so it's have to do with nvidie overlay. Thanks !

Tarkov may have killed my SSD lol
It was 1 year old too. Unable to delete any files off the SSD after Tarkov kicked me out and force logged me out. I tried even installing tarkov again (see the pictures above), and got a different error each time. Now the drive has to be sent back to the manufacturer for replacement.
Literally installed Tarkov today, got kicked out of the game before extract, forced to reinstall due to "Unexpected character encountered while parsing value" error. Then got "Unable to determine message length" error when reinstalling, and then"Could not find file" error when trying again. After that, kaput. Drive unable to reformat in diskpart, disk management or windows UI, drive unable to delete files.
Simply, the files appear after being deleted. :/
Now, I'm without an SSD for possibly 20 days. Its odd that the drive would die like this too, as I can't find anyone else with this issue (files reappearing after being deleted, unable to reformat as the files just create themselves instantly again) at all.
Like, if I right click on the drive, and click format, it formats it and then literally reverts back as if the format never happened. Unrelated to my PC as well, as all other drives work fine.
It's stressful as I just had installed Tarkov yesterday and then this happens. My drive has worked perfectly up until that point. I do a lot of unity develop and VR and haven't had any issue.

FAT32 will limit things, choose NTFS instead.

In the tarkov folder, look for a .patch file, I think. There should be the downloaded file. Thats the cache of what you just downloaded. It may not be deleted

downloading takes 2 systems communicating. If the server sending the files is overloaded then even if you have 10gbps download, the download of a patch or game will be slow.

Or, what worked for me was deleting the folder local.ini and shared.ini files and doing integrity check to reinstall the folders, both found C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\Escape (I don't have the exact directory on me at the moment)

@covert shuttle Not entirely, we all started at the bottom. Just remind him to keep going and to slowly get over the deaths, eventually the deaths just turn in to another chance. Ensure he's also going in with an objective. Getting items, doing quests, etc. One objective per raid, and after you do that just go kill ome things. Extracting is not entirely necessary, they'll get there eventually.

I can't find any clear info if I can be honest,
BE's stance globally is that you will not be banned or flagged for using macros, some games can use their in built Macro detector but will just kick you. EFT clearly doesn't have that as people use Macro's often, even cheaply made ones.
As for BSG again, no real info. But I can imagine if you did you'd see complaints a lot more, so assume not for now

This cannot be happening to only me, but after a server update performance tanks on the server. Desync is at an all high, silent nades, silent shots, running and random deaths, reg issues, and more. I have not survived the last 11 raids and I feel that most of it is defiantly because of the server. Also late spawns are more apparent now too which gets me killed 10 seconds into my reserve runs. Could i get some help. I am really fucking frustrated

issues started last night when they prepared servers for updates. I can literally tell when a server is going to be updated because negative effects spike through the walls for me. Im talking millions in lost gear because of it. I mainly pvp but also hunt for loot in my downtime in between. I HAVE NOT survived for longer then 3 minutes in a raid YET even as a scav.
so that being said, why is it fair that people with less ping or better service providers gain off of my issues with the servers. If this is going to be an issue after EVERY SINGLE UPDATE then we should have our data saved and refreshed to before the incident. Now even if this is in beta, I understand that its a lot to ask for especially because it will just be wiped again, but look at it from this standpoint. There are so many others out there who are having this happen to them. Including streamers, so if so many are affected why hasn't an opinion like this already been done because frankly its stupid that an update should break the servers to this point. im 8/10 frustrated not because I lost gear but because I simply cannot play the game because now it is in such a broken state for me what is the point in me continuing to play. I could care less over the 3m i just lost. I want to play the game but have died 3m into the raid the last 12 raids. Just did again, but you know what, that one was on me

As of right now we are simply at the mercy of waiting, BSG knows what these issues with cause but in order to get to the end of the long road of development they have to put us through these issues in order to get to a greener field.
It will get better, those that have been around since the start can tell you it's gotten better. We jst gotta do something else for a week or two then we'll see 12.8 and things iwll get better

I don't understand how you think a loot relapse of prior to maintenance starting would work. Not everyone is effected by maintenance, people who might find a red lab keycard during maintenance would get mad if the loot looped back prior to maintenance starting thus losing their key card
Or if you're saying they'd just get everything during the maintenance as it currently is or just anything you lose you'd essentially get a free insurance thus duping items

After this my game AND discord crashed....I am yet to load it up again, i will say if it is the same

@stone mango Have you tried checking your GPU / Mobo drivers /Chipset drivers for recent updates? Shouldn't be too big if it isn't but it might cap your performance thus not being able to load things fast enough. If that's not it maybe try giving Tarkov a higher priority through your task manager?

Hello, I am downloading this game and working on installing it; however, reviewing task manager it appears that the launcher is pulling 11.1/MBs download speed. The issue is that the launcher is only reporting 500/kbps-1mbps.

I have an AMD Ryzen 9 3950x, 32gb of DDR4 3200mhz memory and a 2080ti and I get like 90fps max running around the map with weird freezes/stutters every 30 seconds to a minute that drop my fps to like 20 for a second. I've followed a lot of the performance guides posted all over and nothing really seems to help; is this just expected?

I just did sew it good task for ragman, and it gave me the option to turn in a pilgrim that i had, but i had that in a finnel of them, and it deleted the whoel funnel of pilgrims along with graphics cards and water filter that were in it. I had about 5 water filters and 15 graphics cards.

Try going to your Nvidia control panel -> manage 3D setting -> program settings tab -> set Escape From Tarkov as the program (you may have to find it in your files) -> turn VSync off in the settings list -> make sure VSync is ON in EFT. @dry cedar

That is the major one, see if that fixes your issue. You can find guides and all on specific settings to change but the VSync one should at least fix your FPS locking.

Everytime I download the game through the launcher, I get a checksum error. So I tried downloading the game directly through the store link using JDownloader, and I get a CRC error, and multiple errors when extracting, and then extracting freezes.
What would you guys suggest?
Basically, 3 days ago, I downloaded the game without issues but the game kicked me out when ingame. After that, the game said I needed a complete reinstall. After reinstalling, I got various errors like checksum, message end, among others. So I reformatted my SSD as Windows Event Viewer said Tarkov gave it an NTFS error. Now, upon trying again, I can install the launcher and other games, but cannot seem to get tarkov downloaded without a checksum/CRC error.
The drive is fine as sfc /scannow, chkdsk and various SSD health tools say the drive is fine.

4th day of trying to get tarkov to work. Completely uninstalled it, removed it from registry, attempted download multiple times, downloaded the file directly from eft store link, updates failed, cant uninstall or install battleye. Etc. Broken.
No matter what I do, I can't get the game to run.
Tried the H drive on a USB enclosure too. All of my other games work perfectly fine. Just Tarkov doesn't.
Its frustrating because I bought the game just for this to happen. Every download just fails checksum/crc. Always files corrupted. Repairing it through the launcher doesn't work as it will fail out too.

He's not the only one I've seen had that issue, allot of people on SM seem to be bullied for asking why their account got banned. I extremely doubt every ban they've done is justified. I know hackers QQ and try their luck on getting their account back, but if legitimate players are getting banned and instead of being helped, they're bullied, then that's an issue and not a dev team I'd like to support.

@lost pendant, it definitely is worth it, a lot of people complain about cheating but it's not anywhere near as rampant. It has settled down a ton. I run across them very rarely. It's a one of a kind experience. Just use the people in the Discord and Sherpas to help you get started if you don't want to learn the hard way :D

So, whenever I play tarkov and I for example load into reserve sometimes the brightness will be perfect and just as bright as it should be and other days it will be pitch black in certain places that otherwise are dark but visible normally. This bug has just gotten me killed because I couldn't see a damn thing in the underground part of reserve and there was nothing I could do, I straight up would randomly move in directions and look around until I saw a light to go to. When the brightness is normal I can see fine. So basically some days that I play tarkov the brightness will be pitch black and some days its normal, I don't know if this is a tarkov settings problem or something with my computer but help would be appreciated. It is overall really annoying and even just yesterday my brightness was fine but now its not. Please help

Is it just me that keeps on getting disconected from the server. Made a PMC run where I got disconected before entering the map. Now im trying to do a scav run, but I keep on getting disconected before getting into the map, and have tried to reconect 5 times now xD

Hey so, i have a problem, when ever i try go to a raid, i just get disconnect with server connection lost or game aborted try reconnect, anyone know how to fix this?
Started after i changed some settings on nvidia control panel

If it's started after that, I would recommend you revert your settings to the default, leave all settings to "Application Controlled". Then I would adjust your server selection in the Launcher, sometimes a certain server (Dallas, Frankfurt, etc) can just be having issues but the launcher forgets to switch you

So go to the selector and select the three lowest ping servers to you, then try the game again. Adjust the server selection until you can avg 9/10 games a-okay

TO ANYONE WITH WRONG PASSWORD/EMAIL ERROR.
I got some info from one of the guys who had that problem that if you reset password through cannot login it may work. ( at least worked for him) i will try that in 30 minutes when my password reset block comes down. will give info hopefully it will work.
The thing is that i cannot enter ANY game
i tried on the lowest ping server only
i have no fix for that and no theoretical fix also

Okay, the next step is to refresh your IP address. You'll either need to restart your wireless Router and/or replug your in cable. Or you may need to speak to your ISP and ask them to refresh it

@wispy scarab Just reset your nvidia stuff and leave it off, honestly it's causing massive issues accross the board for a lot of people. Especially in EFT
