Try to select 2-3 servers with the lowest ping near you then to improve it a bit.

If you are using an USB wifi adapter, try to move it out of the way a bit with an extension cable.
Or check your wifi routers settings, maybe setting it to a different channel will help.
Really all I can give is basic advice to improve your wifi connection. Your ping might be less stable with a wifi connection but it should definitely not be that bad, which indicates some problems on your end.

All day, Uninstalled reinstalled. Updated drivers exc nothing fixes it. I can use my hideout/menu just fine no issues as soon as i load into a raid my screen flickers game crashes and this is what I get. On a 9700k 2080 super 32gb of ram. @rugged skiff Loading issues could either be due to your hard drive or a connection issue. You'll either need to adjust your in game servers or ensure you have the game on an SSD
@dry cedar Only real way to troubleshoot this is to check your CPU in other games, if there's no issue then you'll most likely need to adjust your settings but right now the game is having FPS issues for all

My duo partner can't play as his FPS had tanked to ten, there's no FPS counter, sole servers are just unplayable, etc. So right now we just need to wait for a new update to address this, sorry you got the worst problem!

@frank ledge Tell your friend to log out of the launcher (might be worth going through account settings to make sure you know the log in), log back in and verify game integrity. If that doesn't work go to the website and sign in so you get the launcher download to verify the account does have a purchase. If that doesn't work it's going to be a BSG support ticket
@slow cipher That's just inventory lag/desync. If you're connected to a good server it shouldn't happen to often but some days it'll take awhile and not too much you can do. Avoid playing while technical updates are coming out by checking #eft-announcements

That wouldn't be desync forgot about that, if it's the equipped weapon it'll flash white as you're holding it you'll have to do an animation before it can actually drop

Prevent this by swapping to the weapon you plan to keep and it'll save you time as it'll just force you to your scabbard

i.e if you have two shitty AKs and you plan to grab an M4 from a dead body, either drag the AK you don't have selected into his open weapon slot or just toss it on his body. If you're dropping the weapon you are currently holding either swap to the other gun or drop it then exit the looting tab
Personal experience it can be delayed up to almost half a minute until it does the dropping animation if you drop your equipped weapon
So just swap to your secondary or scabbard before you drop it

Since 12.7 my weapon modding has broken. I load up a preset, select the weapon to apply it to and click "assemble". The list of items that comes up that are required to purchase to build the gun is missing key part.
I can then click "assemble" and the notification pops up that the gun has been build but it is in ruins and many parts are missing.
What is up with that? Actually makes playing really painful.

However also the second to last technical update also caused issues with spawning, fps and a few other things, we may need to wait another update

@left meadow MS has nothing to do with it in this regard, the EU servers are very unreliable and are prone to disconnects, desync, etc. US servers are more stable as they've had the most work done so far, I believe they are now working on the EU side but as they work they may need to take clusters offline and change things around.
Whilst I understand what you mean, you'll need to experiment with how you want to play server wise. I always play US, and the only issues I have is with my own bad ISP

Step 2 : Move the Game folder to another Drive, For example if you have it on (C:) drive , put it on (E:) Drive.
Step 3: Install the Launcher again, Click on set the path to previously installed game , Choose the game folder which you moved to (E:)
Step 4: After it's done with it's "integrity check" you can Play the game now, Or you can move the game again to the older Drive you used to have it on which is the (C:) in case you have SSD or something, and then click on set the path again and wait for the "Integrity check" and there you go.

Im getting a loading error and I have reported it to battlestate via launcher but they still havent managed to find a fix (they suggested to increase my page file capacity but it didnt fix), was wandering if anyone else is having the issue and found a fix. This is only started happening after the update of the customs expansion, addition of Sanitar and the GL. When loading into the raid, pretty much no matter what map (apart from Factory) I get increased loading times, but the reason being my game gets stuck on "loading map 100%" This is really affecting my loading times and i am getting into the raid like 3-5 mins late if im with friends, solo is 2-4 mins (basically my loading time before the patch was 3mins 30 seconds and im in raid or deploying, but now its average 5mins 30 seconds)
It literally makes it really hard to play with friends as they either end up dead or loot certain areas as its annoying to wait a while when ur trying to do loot runs (If anyone finds anything that can potentially fix it PLEASE dm me)

Okay, @vivid briar restart your game to get your items back in your insurance. Once it is all back in there, move everything as it is shown across. For example do not take items out of vests, break down weapons or put items in storage boxes etc. Once you've done that leave the insurance page and then go into your stash and then you can begin breaking done items etc.

Things like your Kappa, and the items and keys you carry in it never need to be insuraed as they cannot be taken from your body when you die. Only items on your person can be removed, such as backpacks, vests, pockets, weapons, etc

16 will help, but scope in will naturally drop your FPS as the game is now required to filter in a higher resoltuion of objects it would usually cull at range. We are all mainly waiting for 12.8 for the Unity upgrade adn the server upgrades with it. So expect taht to help

@sterile frost The FPS issue is currently for everyone right now, we are all waiting for 12.8 with the Unity 2019 upgrade as the devs are currently trying to get all the optimisations in to that. On top of this, the servers are currently having massive issues as the BSG and Unity devs are upgrading them as well

It will be once they get in to the optimisations of the game, but right now it's just Major bugs and content. Wait till 12.8 drops and see if that helps, it'll be within a month at least.
Try and look around for help on settings and things with lower powered machines, you mgiht be able to at least avg 30 FPS if possible

So I loaded into a raid and mid raid my wifi went out, so I reloaded tarkov and everything like usual, pressed escape from tarkov to load back into the raid, than I saw that I could press back, to like back out of a raid NOT DISSCONNECT. I pressed it, than for some reason I loaded in. I went to extract because I spawned literally right next to an extract in factory and my friend had already extracted before me. Went to extract and at 1 second remaining till extract I die and it says I killed myself. I had my friend and mes gear and it was the best gear I had, im not exactly rich so Im pretty pissed.. I didnt even get a disconnect penalty, all it said was that I killed myself. I have a video of it if anyone can help

Had a SA-58 tried to change its muzzle from Australian (Similar name) to the BMD and the gun turned red and raid "Error 0000 Missing Vital part = muzzle" then it disappeared from my stash. it was on my character when I tried to change the muzzle and worked but now it is just gone have restarted the game and everything.

Hey everyone! anyone can help with a weird issue I have with the game.. I have started seeing white spots in the game (like artifacts, but not really) while playing. and almost every time when they happen.. the game freezes and crashes, but sometimes the game freezes my PC completely so I have to physically reset it. I am playing for 4-5days and everything was fine until yesterday. I have tried reinstalling the nVidia drivers (latest 3 releases with clean install). and tried playing with the game settings (All defaults, Clean RAM, Physical cores, PostFX [on/off], Vsync, visibility, LOD, Shadow quality), also reinstalled the game twice on different SSD drives. but still getting the same issues. I have recorded the issue with nVidia Shadow Play and took a screenshot of it. its important to mention that it happens only in Tarkov.

This has only been more recent when messing with graphics settings because I was on low and found out my processor was bottlenecking. You have the latest drivers, not just for your GPU but also for your CPU and the latest BIOS from your Motherboard manufacturer.
Are you using an HDD or an SSD? If you don't have access to na SSD that can cause slow down, even more so if you have the single HDD.
What else is running at the time, if you have under 16GB of Ram you can struggle to run this game if something like Chrome is open.

Nah I have 16 gb of ram, this is pretty bare bones set up of what I am running and it only had this problem after upping my graphics, but it seems that if they're too low my fps is suffering heavily so I go with the optimizer. and adjust very little.

Was noticing some frame drops after reinstalling the game, went through a couple youtube guides but they all were slightly off. In the end I tried seeing what all low graphics did, which I think just put all the power on one unit so my fps tanked. Then I read turning up graphics in certain ways gives better performance and just followed a bit to that. The game is flawless and smooth as butter now except for that initial launch in which is also pretty huge in the game.

before all of the backend error thing i just played my few first games (in which i of course died quickly lmao what an idea of trying to shoot with an unloaded AK) but the main issue is that just after i decided to go for an offline game to try improved myself with ai. And so i did, with a P256 i think it was ? i dont remember exactly anyway, huh thing is when i shot at the ai, i had to click two, three and even sometimes four times for my gun to even shot once, any idea of why is that so ?
