It usually occurs after patch updates when a huge number of players is trying to log in. First thing I did was uninstall game and reinstall and it didnt work, then i tried just to do launcher and not game and it worked. It seems the 260260 error occurs when it checks for updates from the launcher. It seems that associating the game with the launcher instead of installing bypasses the check (as it only did integrity)

Recently I went to buy Tarkov and I went through the normal process of signing into paypal and such. After paying it said the transaction had been cancelled and I got my refund from paypal, currently just waiting for it to go back to my bank. it definitely could be, i know last wipe my download was in the 100kbps range and when i speed tested i was obviouslty not getting 100kbps, so i feel like it could be the launcher

As soon as I opened patch 0.12.6, i received a bluescreen on the main menu. After that, an error "Unable to load mono" was displayed. After googling how to fix that, 17 GB of the game files were corrupted, and had to be re-downloaded. However, despite selecting the drive where to load the files, they were first loaded to a temporary location with a lot less free disc space that was required. Therefore, after end of the download, an error was displayed and all of the downloaded files were lost. After clearing more space to all volumes, I restarted the download only to realize that the download speed is now capped to 50kb/s max. Nothing I've tried so far solves this problem.
