I'm having a very strange problem where I crash every time I try to load into reserve. Every other map works fine. I'm only encountering this problem when I load into reserve.
Any idea on how to fix this? I've tried:
raising the paging file size
complete uninstall/reinstall/registry clean using ccleaner
reinstalling my drivers
loading the game with no other programs running

So i used to get 50-70 fps when i started playing the game. Then i updated my graphic driver and that ruined the fps gain i had to around 30-50 after that i watched a youtube tutorial for fps issues and fixes which managed to fix my fps and i was getting 120 always but after a few days the fps just dropped to around 60 and I dont know what to do at this point. and i get fps drops/stutters from time to time after long sessions without closing and re-opening the game

you cant really you just have to restart the game unfortunately

no it doesnt fix it in general it fixes the stutters but not the fps being somewhere at 60 or less

as in the low fps is an constant problem rather than the stutters i get sometimes

the low fps could be you just need to optimize your settings, through nvidia control panel if you have a geforce card

Yeah, i upgraded (just for EFT) to 160Hz monitor, i9 and 1080TI (I know there are newer out there) and alittle bit dissapointet i rarely get over 100fps

Hm, that sounds similar to my setup. I run a 144hz monitor but also an I9 and a 1080TI and I hit 130 frequently. Have you looked into overclocking you GPU?

Random question trying to see if any of you have experenced this. Fired up the game for the first time in a while today and when i go to sprint I stutter step and powerslide instead of sprinting. Close the launcher completely and start the game via your installation path; the EscapeFromTarkov.exe as a administrator, you should be good to go then.

i wouldn't rule it out. it's possible BSG is strict in their connection accepting, and you only have the problem with tarkov and not in other games.
also heavily depends on where you are and where their servers are.

their CDN is G-Core Labs and not AWS so who knows what their global presence is like. if the download server is in Russia you might be getting your connection dropped along the route

(at least from my logs, the url i posted above resolves to an IP for G-Core Labs CDN in luxembourg)

i would recommend switching back to your original resolution

Ah ok, i would recommend attempting to optimize your game, turning some settings down. Reserve makes your fps lower sometimes, and othermaps make it increase, so if you're looking for a Hight fps gameplay, i recomend customs, factory or shoreline, but if you dont mind losing 30-40 fps, (if that's what you're claiming) play reserve. For me and others, we only lose about 3-4 fps ish on reserve

Based on my own measurements allowing logical threads doesn't actually improve anything. It's easy to check for yourself by toggling the setting on/off.

You can't compare streams with the actual framerate or refresh rate. Streams go through a lot of processing that can obscure some minor issues. If it doesn't feel smooth with 70-80 fps, you should try to eliminate screen tearing, which can make the game feel much smoother as well.

Gsync and freesync are popular ways to eliminate screen tearing, but vsync will work as well if you can get used to potential higher input latency.
