So i was told to uninstall and reinstall game. now I receive the "checksum" message at the very end of downloading the game. super frustrating. ive tried disabling antivirus, changing the file destination and a few other fixes.

Yeah. It's a common issue, sadly, but afaik there is no consistent fix for it. Really the only thing you can do is making sure your network is fine. You can try to reinstall the launcher and game in different directories to be safe.

If you are using a wireless connection right now, I would recommend trying it with a wired connection.

Not really. People often recommend downloading the game manually or copying the game files from another computer, but sharing game files is not allowed, so you won't get any links or files here.

It's a known issue, sadly. It doesn't reset the attempts automatically, so at some point you will only have one attempt left.

@supple flicker Really the most important thing is focusing on surviving. Try to avoid fights if you are not sure if you can survive/win them. As a beginner, you could go to shoreline or interchange since they are big maps where you have enough room to learn and loot some stuff. Exits are easy to find on those maps as well (just follow the border until you find it).

Hey I get an issue where after scav running I try to transfer stuff and halfway through it stops working and wont transfer. I just had to drop an RPK 16, tons of ammo, a labs key, and more and have had this happen before. Lost at least 1 mil or more in roubles from scav runs because of this bug that doesn't transfer items correctly. When I restart the game, it works, but I can't transfer after that. Please either change the game to where upon restart it kicks me to my scav so I can put more away or fix this disconnection bug as a whole.

What i would do if this was happening to me is

.run a memory test

. monitor my memory usage and swap file

.. increase virtual memory.

. Disable all unnecessary programs even anti virus

. Run a system cleaner like CCleaner.

.. defrag all my drives.

.run malewarebytes

. Run steam and the game as administrator.

Then if nothing worked I'd just reinstall Windows saving nothing, update, install drivers, install steam then pubg and play.
But this is just what I'd end up doing. Others can do what they want.

@round zephyr For the memory issue, the only thing you can do is checking if your RAM is fine, closing any background software and making sure there are no viruses or something like that. Running SFC /Scannow in an admin console is worth a try as well.
