@scenic shoal sometimes u still have to wait a while after the timer goes down, u should still extract if u just stay in the extract zone for a bit longer, iv had it take up to a full minute after the timer before but its a rare bug

@quasi walrus your suspicion is exactly what is happening. If you insure from the insure screen before entering a raid, head back to your stash and try to move the money around from your wallet (I trying to split the stack when checking), the game will freak out because it will realise the balance is wrong, kick you out to the main menu, and when you go back in your wallet amount will show the correct balance.

m61 can pen first shot for t6 armor so it takes same amount to kill someone with t6 armor as m80 but m80 can one tap anyone t4 armor or below

shotguns are always a thing that game developers seem to have a really hard time getting the functions of it as close to real life as possible without creating an uproar in the community of the game, atleast from my experiences of playing the games

im not really on either side of that argument. personally, i favor balance over realism. that being said, i think the blunt damage from a shotgun blast should be considerably higher than it is for buckshot at the moment, so that even though it rarely pens, it does a decent amount of damage through armor.

Last night a couple buddies and I were doing some labs runs, and we encountered someone who appeared to be speed hacking and aimboting, we all have footage from different angles and agreed that what this person was doing was impossible ( Zabralo looking armor and kitted, moving like the Flash) and aim that could shoot around corners. Can someone tell me where I can send the footage and report the player ? We each lost about a mill worth of equipment less than 4 minutes into the match ๐

OK, I've been trying so hard to not to just complain about lag or servers but I just spent the last hour trying to run scav and PMC and lagging out and desyncing to the point that I had three runs die before I even had a chance to spawn into the map. A full hour spent loading and reloading, dying and starting again. without any gameplay. Like, I don't understand how I could be "dying" if I never get into the game.

Are you NA servers by chance? I think there is a certain NA server that continues too disconnect. I don't think it's all of them. It's happen multiple times over the past 3 days. Where you reconnect an then disconnect over and over.

wild shit just happened, running to admin gate cache on customs and go to loot it, and the stuff inside the cache doesn't identify, so I go out of the cache and try to open it agan, then I just keel over dead. @wheat falcon "getting better servers" isn't all that easy as people think it is, it's not a matter of just paying some server company and "getting more servers" ... it's a tedious process of upscaling and tackling all the problems that only arise with higher server loads, increased need for higher level server/instance management etc
these problems are just not visible on lower loads, so they can only be seen and solved when there's actually more players active. Yes, a bigger company with a dedicated team of netcoders could do this kind of testing in an isolated environment. That's just not the case for any smaller studio. Give them time, I firmly believe that this server-shit is absolutely top priority at BSG, so any whining on the community's part isn't gonna help anything.

@carmine temple while i agree that everyone saying "get more better servers" isnt exactly helping or even a good thing for them to do there is still clearly an issue that arises when the servers are under high load. They do have a lot of software issues which are one of the main issues holding back the game performance and they are working on them but there is clearly also a lack of hardware with the growing playerbase. What seems like it would be the best fix in my opinion would be to partner up with steam or similar as they are a well established provider of servers and they would almost guaranteed be able to provide the kind of good stable servers in the numbers that they need. But as far as i can tell BSG just dont want to spend all of that money that they could be making i nprofit on that kind of expensive partnership.

The problem isn't really the servers though, although it could be a part of it... from what I understand it has to do with their coding and whatnot... (like it wasn't coded very well to handle the huge influx of players) While yes the servers do crap out, I don't think it's the fault of the servers they have, rather a fault in the game design, which they are trying to fix and with the rate the community has grown, I think they are doing a good job. Could they do more? Probably... I'm not a computer genius know it all...

You realise adding 2 servers doesnt mean they are adding new locations. They can be added onto current servers and that is what is mainly being done, as for the servers going missing part. This happened a while ago when they were upgrading servers to other ones as well as when some providers just crash etc they dissapear, now im not saying this is what happened but it has before.
Also, on the topic of the scav run cooldown thing, none of us have any idea why that is happening or if its even supposed to happen.

Has anyone been experiencing the game being infinitely slower to load in, and being extremely fps laggy when in the game? It feels like there's a huge memory leak going on. My whole computer starts lagging. I have tried heavier games, but it's only Tarkov where it is happening. I tried re-installing and updating drivers and all that, but nothing.

Hey uh. I just had a super weird situation in game just happen. Not sure if cheater or glitch. I spawned in as PMC on interchange, and looted a stash near Emercom. I came up onto the road, and I heard a constant fire of gunshots. I had seen a guy on the road, took a shot and missed with mosin. The guy got up and ran, but when the gunshots started he died instantly. I started taking damage too, with no other gunshots going on and went behind cover. The gunshots were coming from inside of interchange, and they didn't stop. I peeked out from cover, just leaned and instantly died with the gunshots still going on. They never stopped. I really couldn't give a shit about my gear, I'm just confused what the hell happened. I got the person's name, but they're an EOD account and doubt they're cheating
