And seeing you are a software engineer, you should know that avast is a load of crap that reads your data and streams it to thrid parties. That for starters. Also, you don't have any controle over the updates the free avast does, and you should know what that means as software developer

FYI I fixed the error "Unable to reconnect to game". The fix doesn't make much sense to me, but if anyone has it, this might help. Delete your Launcher. Go into your AppData/Roaming folder, there you will find the launcher folder with the settings, delete it. Next, you should delete your launcher folder where your game is. Reinstall the launcher and link the game files. This fixed it for me. Hope it helps someone. @leaden warren for example

So you will need to install avast antivirus, free version, then click the 7 day vpn trial in the client, all free no card needed, then when using vpn the install and update will work fine, fixed.
Now it's fixed you will never need vpn just one time use... read up the chat this has fixed all 403 404 errors

Hey guys after installing the newest driver for my GPU my game is really grainy. I have messed with all the setting (yes i've turned noise off) but nothing seems to work. Before I updated the driver the game was very smooth and clear, now it's like everything 10 feet in front of me is 144p. New to pc's so not fully clear on troubleshooting something like this.
