And replace your local.ini file in Documents > Escape from Tarkov with this one after that.
And change the fullscreen mode to "borderless" after the game launches.

i dont understand why they dont have a system where when you queue up you are placed into a match queue and than after a preset time of waiting (until map reaches max PMCs or until time till create runs out) than the server will create the match for whom ever was in that queue
i shouldnt be here waiting 20 mins to get into a match, or worse never as thats what it looks like for me

I am pretty sure there is something like that already in place, but it doesn't force a new game (more like it "suggests" a new game when certain conditions are met). The issues you are having don't seem to have anything to do with lack of matches/games, but some technical network issue. I'm afraid I don't know a 100% working solution, but you can try various network-related things like restarting your router, changing your DNS server, disabling your firewall/antivirus etc.
..or restarting your PC.

Factory is a very small factory mostly played for PvP.

@stoic fossil Reserve is a pretty big map with a lot of things. It causes issues for a lot of people. Try to play around with your auto ram cleaner, core affinity, shadow distance, render distance and LOD quality settings ingame.

The game should allow personalization of icons and also of NUMBERS for items: I have first item on 4 second item on 5 ... etc... anyway in a order that makes everything non intuitive and messy. if the yallow to set our button and icons \ numbers and also name the key action it would be great.

I bought the game yesterday and was able to enter without problems. but later, upon re-entering, the game does not start me. I open the launcher, give it a play and the game starts but does not respond, it comes out in the taskbar but does not respond. My friend just purchased the game and got banned while he was playing for the first time ever!
It happened on the Seoul server, as a Scav, at Shoreline and played together with me.
The only programs that were running in the background at the time were Discord and Blitz.gg
Please let me know why he got banned. He hasn't used any hacks nor exploited glitches/bugs whatsoever.

@plush glade welcome to windows bad scaling. Go to Settings > System > Display > Scale and layout > Advanced scaling settings and enter a value as close to 100% as possible (100% would be the best, but maybe that's too small for you).

I purchased the game for myself, and at the same time purchased a gift key. However, I mistakenly used the GIFT CODE on my OWN ACCOUNT, thinking the code I had got was for my own copy, which was already credited the game and that I'd then receive another code as the gift key .The code is no longer valid, and it says my gift is active. Close the launcher, run this script, remove the old game files (probably in C:\Battlestate Games\EFT (Live)\ or something similar) and install the game in a different place again (I recommend C:\Program Files\EscapeFromTarkov\) and make sure your antivirus isn't running while you are installing the game.

However, I mistakenly used the GIFT CODE on my OWN ACCOUNT, thinking the code I had got was for my own copy, which was already credited the game and that I'd then receive another code as the gift key .The code is no longer valid, and it says my gift is active. Mishka the stutters are server side, it is most likely the server is performing garbage collection and thats where you get the small stutters. or they are doing live snapshots frequently (i doubt this to be the case, but it is possible)

Sadly that's a very common problem, the only consistent fix is mashing retry until the download is done.

side note: my discord seems to freeze/ crash once my game closes itself
this only happens on shoreline and i am currently swapping the game to a different hard drive without my OS on so see if that is whats conflicting it

The only consistant fix is just mashing retry and repeating that until the game is fully installed.

Hello, my character keeps throwing magazines to the ground about half the time, even if theres plenty of space, and even if I rebind quick reload to an entirely different key, any thoughts?

@young zealot I know in beg. chat you said you had room, so the only other thing I can think of is that you haven't noticed the magazine you are starting with a larger mag (like a 45 or 60) that is 3 squares inside and you have a normal rig with only 2 square size slots

Hey, I'm having A LOT of trouble with "Server connection lost". Unfortunately I cannot tell whether it's happening after last updates or after changing the laptop I play on. I'm using the same internet connection and last time I played, very rarely got disconnected. The issues is same with auto-server and selective European ones. I've tried disabling firewall, anti-virus, reset my modem/router overnight, updated all drivers (I think), but nothing made a differance. Any ideas?
I was playing both solo and with my friend, but the same happened, although he did not experiance any trouble at all.
