@quasi mural you probably didn't hit the same body part with each shot. Maybe you hit the thorax once and the arms with the two other shots? Or you actually missed one or two shots and it just didn't show correctly on your or your teammates end?

The quest you are having issues with just gives you skill points for money anyway, so I wouldn't be surprised if it gets cancelled after you complete the other quest.

@teal rose Only the head was visible, if i believe that the hit register is correct, it doesn't count any armor damage and my mates confirmed that he was wearing an armor. I used ammo that would penetrates his arms and probably hit the thorax ( the armor ) but I guess desync saved him or the new accuracy patch just ruined something and it'll get fix soon

It's a common bug right now, but it doesn't affect quests or EXP.
Though you can report it using the launcher and attach logs so the devs have more information about the issue.

Thank you for all your help and suggestions yesterday. We ended up just replacing his ssd with a m.2 and a new copy of windows and his tarkov stopped crashing and his logs now create in the right directory 🤷

You can try to reinstall both the game and the launcher in different locations. I recommend C:\Program Files\BsgLauncher for the launcher and C:\Program Files\EscapeFromTarkov for the game. Make sure to remove any old configs and temporary files.
You can use this simple script to remove those files.

I heard MSI Kombuster has an "artifact scanner" that shows issues with Navi cards quite well.
Though as others said, reinstall your driver (the AMD Radeon Software) and reset everything to default in Wattman (Gaming > Global Settings > Global Wattman) before doing any more tests.

to be clear, this issue only happens when, on loading into a game, after loading the map but either before or during loading the loot (not sure which), and sometimes after a map on the way to the main menu, and at all times, only when I'm alt tabbed; also nothing else on my PC appears artifacted and in fact the game cursor glides over the artifacting fully intact

You use USB sticks for that nowadays.
You can just download Windows 10 and create a bootable USB stick to install it, you should just buy a license key (you can buy them online), but it will work alright without one if you can't get one yet.

It is a combination of both I would say. The RX 5700 is known to cause artifacts if you are unlucky. Tarkov itself just did a huge engine upgrade so there are still a lot of issues, especially with compatibility. If you have an USB stick with 32GB or more, we can check if you get artifacts on a different OS as well without installing a new OS or modifying your current OS to check if it is a hardware (your GPU) or software (your OS or Tarkov) issue.
You should be able to just replace your GPU if it is a hardware issue.

alright so since the last patch i have not been able to update the game due to inability to connect with servers or some shit. i thought it might be corrupted files in either the game or the launcher so i uninstalled both. now when i attempt to redownload the launcher it is claiming that the .exe file is not compatible with my computer. has anyone experienced this or knows a fix for this. I have turned off certain security settings that should allow connection and uninstalled any windows updates since the patch dropped just in case it was either of those blocking the downloads

- i had standard edition, and upgraded my stash to level 2 in hideout so that it's the same size as the left behind edition - (10x36)
- 4 days ago i paid an additional $100 to show my support for the game and upgrade to the EOD edition. i got my equipment, but i expected my stash size to upgrade to the amount in the EOD edition, but it didn't. it remained at the 10x36 size (level 2 stash of the standard edition).
- i asked here on discord and people said it might take 24 hours to reflect, so i waited 2 days
- when it didn't, i submitted a support ticket to battlestate games but it's been a few days now and there's been no response. i wouldn't be so concerned about it if it wasn't such a large sum of $ i paid to get the EOD edition 😦

Now that's a question that's a bit above my paygrade, as far as I know there's still the same amount of servers. The best thing I can suggest is a router factory reset and a DNS flush, along with other generic network troubleshooting suggestions.

I will admit that I'm only a volunteer here, but it seems like whenever there's a update and connection issue something changed on Tarkovs end but the users system just doesn't update itself correctly. I get something similar every few patches or so, a router reset usually does it for me.
At least that's what I've gleaned from practically living in here.

I get a 403 error on the launcher every time because of that IP thing but I was logged in the launcher with memorize pw before IP ban luckily so I can still play

I honestly don't know, I'm sorry. BSG support usually bounce people between themselves and cloudflares support with no help.

I solved it, BUT THANKS for the answers!.. by using the FORUM login as an informing personal solution:
forum tag bar on top is very useful ( basically it says that the change .. i thought was the problem... is happening in next hours. not yet happened)
so I just retyped what is my old login and it worked.. I dnt know however why the game launcher prompted me after 2 errors (one Data missing something, and one just froze on loading 3 balls icon we have befor elauncher opens) then asked me for login...
I supposed that it was for address change but I was just confused...
Sometimes (often) over reacting to issues causes more issues.

My launcher is bugged. After clicking restart it goes to extracting and then to rolling back changes. This happens every time.

You can try to just reinstall the launcher then.
And use this script before that to get rid of old configs and temporary files.

Go to Control Panel > Programs and Features and uninstall the BsgLauncher first.

After that just download and install the launcher again.

You can just copy the files over using an USB stick, for example.
You should find it in C:\Battlestate Games\EFT (Live). Just copy the EFT (Live) folder to the other PC, install the launcher and "click set path to existing installation" or something like that. It should give you the option to select the folder you copied over.

I'm having a wierd issue. Played eft yesterday without problems. Today when launching Bsg launcher, the button has changed from "Play" to "install" as if it magically got uninstalled. Trying to install it but nothing happens. Anyone know what this is?
