Alright. First verify your game files and clear your cache using the launcher (there is a drop down menu near your username).

Alright. Go into your game folder. There you can find a folder named "BattlEye". In there you should find two scripts (install and uninstall). Execute the uninstall-script as an admin first and the install-script as an admin after that.
You can try to execute the game itself as an admin as well if the above doesn't work.

Close that window and go to the path in your file explorer manually. What you clicked changes the game path and therefore doesn't show all files.

Sadly, I don't know the error codes. You should contact the support via either the launcher or the website and mention that error.
You can check your PC for issues in general using SFC /Scannow in an admin console and make sure your BIOS and drivers are all updated and working.

Sounds like something went wrong after you removed it.
Make sure there are no traces of it in your router and your network settings. You can also try to use a different DNS server like 8.8.8.8 or 1.1.1.1

That shouldn't be a VPN issue then and you can just disable the firewall temporarily to check if it is that.

Could just be BattlEye doing its thing. Apparently the same DLL causes issues for some people in a different game and the commands netsh winsock reset and SFC /Scannow in an admin prompt should fix them in that game. Maybe it is worth a try for Tarkov as well?

Hmm.. Try to find a replacement sslsp106.dll file first and replace it with your current one. There are tons of websites out there that collect (working) windows system DLL files and offer a download link.
You can check that log file for anything weird as well, just don't send it here.
You should be able to just double-click the log file to view it in the event viewer.

Well, a crash is most likely caused by a bug, so it doesn't hurt to send it to the devs as a bug. I don't know any other way to send it to the devs anyway.

I'm afraid you can't get it back, but please report it as a bug in the launcher and attach both the log file and the clip, so the developers can look into it and fix it so it doesn't happen anymore in the future.
They need information and crash logs to fix bugs. Without any, they have a hard time finding the cause of a bug/crash. π

If the launcher works, there is a button to verify the game files in a drop-down menu near the username.
Try to delete a random (big) file in the "EscapeFromTarkov_Data" folder in the game folder before hitting the button. That should trigger that file to be downloaded again and rebuild/create the ConsistencyInfo file.

alright, ive been playing EFT since late 2014 and im trying to redownload the game and i keep getting an error message. it WILL download a good bit but it keeps popping this error code up. it says unable to load the file "client.9.11.7.4174.zip" unable to read data from the transport connection the connection was closed. how do i fix this?

Hi guys, I downloaded EFT a good while ago but never stuck to playing the game all that much since it was super choppy and despite my attempts at trying different settings, I could never fix it. Iβm trying to get back into the game but I absolutely need to fix this issue, movement is incredibly jittery for me and I experience massive FPS drops when I get into combat. @remote roost it will be sent to the email you used as your login. Just make sure you check all your spam folders and log into your email account via the email provider website (some email clients do some weird things).
Also there is no need to download the launcher to figure out which email you used. You could have checked it on the website as well.

Yeah I think you can't do too much for now. Your CPU is most likely the issue right now, but I am sure 0.12 will improve performance with older/weaker CPU's by a lot as well.
My CPU (Ryzen 5 2600 @4GHz) maxes out at around 30% and bottlenecks the rest of the hardware for Tarkov as well, sadly.

I know it sounds weird, but try turning down your settings a little bit, currently Tarkov likes to change how it renders cetain things at certain detail levels and even though you've got the power to run it on Ultra it can cause some of the problems you're having.

You have the option to let it choose the best server for you automatically or manually based of your choice. I would have a look at local servers if the automatic option is not best fit for you.

@undone wyvern afaik the region lock only affects in what part of the world you can launch the game, not what servers you can select. If you are playing with friends, everyone in the team will play on the server selected by the group leader or the person who invited all other players. I would recommend you to keep the automatic server selection enabled for ping reason even if you could select other servers anyway.
@median summit try to select the automatic server selection if you didn't do that already. If you don't find a match on a specific server that most likely means nobody else is looking for match on that map at that time.
@dusky river could just be BattlEye actually. Maybe it just doesn't like that software and kills it to be on the safe side.

@teal rose Automatic server option directs it to USA and I live in Australia so you could imagine the bad ping. I've also tried looking on all maps but have found nothing in 5 minutes for each. I'm confused because I used to find a game no problem a few months ago when I stopped playing.

There are several bugs like that that can only be solved by restarting the game, sadly.

Hey. I had to reset my pc and it kept escape from tarkov, but now when I launch the game it starts loading then freezes
I just downloaded launcher and verified the install, didnt give me any errors but idk how to fix the freezing
the game is also fullscreen in some weird aspectration/resolution

@pure talon I have never noticed that. You can try to hide in a corner and restart your game (make sure you close it using either ALT+F4 or the task manager, don't click "disconnect" ingame!).

That's weird. If you have enough space on your OS drive, you can install it there first and move it to the other driver after that.

You need to change the "Press Type" for "Aim" in your controls settings.
Try "Release" first.

I fixed the issue, it was the latest nvidia driver crashing my game.
Did a rollback through device manager and it's all fine now.
