It is a bit harder to figure out how exactly to change something using it, but it is possible

The best is to manually change the region to one or two specific servers in the list instead of automatic, so you can easily find where and how to change it in the config file

I'm not sure since Tarkov's performance can also vary on more powerful systems, however, I recommend that you get 16GB RAM because that game can be quite laggy for me since I have only 8GB.

Just wondering @teal rose, how do you make those settings actually apply? Because I still unfortunately get forced to use Australian servers despite doing that and trying to do a "read only" option for that file.

@rich lake I played this game on a machine a bit like yours. FX 6300, 16 GB weak DDR3 and a GTX 1050 Ti, nothing overclocked. I played at 1080p and hit at least 50-60 FPS most of the time on low settings. That was around half a year ago though, so it will probably run even better for you

Ye it was my fail. Something I did wrong when I install the driver. Because my GPU useage drop from 99% to 10% when I press tab in game, that's why it lags. But only shoreline that's confused me. hatchling

There’s two spawn points the one is at the highway going under the over pass and the other spawn is near the white tower. They can easily get close or in the tower and nail that spawn and the possible spawn on the road further down.

They only JUST unblocked my IP after several requests to unblock it due to too many log-in attempts.

So. I recently got my IP unblocked by Support after I got blocked for seemingly too many log-in attempts? And now my account is completely inaccessible. I try to log-in through the Website I just get a "Wrong password/Email. Try again." even if I change my password and try again - I get the exact same message. If I try to log-in through the Launcher I get the same message and 'Error: 206'.

I've made like twenty+ requests on support and all they get back to me with is: "Please, try to Log In.", Or "Please, as much as detail describe your problem, attaching screenshots and/or video (the best way will be to upload a video to YouTube with access by link (unlisted))." and then never reply again and leave me to rot practically.

I bought the game back in 2017, and have only been able to play it ONCE, this issue has been occurring since 2018 from as far as I can tell and I think I've just been shadow-banned, or my account deleted without warning or seemingly reason. Because of this, I've lost my access to the game, and every time I try to get help communications completely fail and I'm left without ANY support whatsoever.I've asked for help on Discord - They told me to go to Support, I goto Support - they ignore half of my emails, and consistently ask me the same things over and over again and offer no help whatsoever or any replies when they ask for more information.I've sent information confirming I bought the game, my email, my account name - EVERYTHING, and they just stop replying and never get back to me.

I've got NO idea what to do - I can't find anything to actually help and talk to me and I'm so stressed out over it all. I don't even care if I get my original account back. I just want access to the game I bought, or my money back.

I've never used cheats - and have only ever played the game once ever since I purchased it back in 2017 - and am entirely unsure what the situation behind all of my issues actually is, if I've been flagged for cheating - if my account was compromised at some point or if it is just some internal issue, I've zero ideas or information provided to me.

You can try this little script to restart the audio service completely (needs to be run as an administrator). Make sure you close all applications that are shown when right-clicking on the sound icon in the bottom-right of your screen and selecting "Open Volume Mixer". If you don't trust this file, this are the commands you need to enter in the cmd-tool (run as an administrator, again): net stop AudioSrv and net start AudioSrv

Hi guys, I am trying to reinstall the game after having to reinstall windows. Getting an error that some zip file online can't be found. Here is the full message.

i got a new SSD and wanted to install EFT on there, i moved all the files onto it, in the launcher it also changed the directory.

So I eventually just copied my brother's install folder and pointed the launcher to that. For a day I could not download the game, the download had to retry every 5 minutes, while loading only 40mb at a time. So yeah, goodluck with the servers BSG, hope they come right some time.

Also if you have windows 10, press [Windows + Tab], Make a new desktop by pressing the button in the top left, then dragging Tarkov over to it, click in to the game then drag it back to the primary desktop. Sometimes that fixes it for me

you can also try and close the "windows desktop manager" before you run the game, it might bork some of your stuff in your windows desktop until you restart but you'll cut like 2 ms off your frame time

and while we're on the subject, if tarkov crashes and you cant click the error popup then you can just alt+tab until you have selected the unclickable window and press spacebar to close it

Exactly the same, trying to re-install the game again and the download bar barely advances as the downloading speed decreases until stopping, and then that message pops up for me

No solution so far, tried to run the launcher as admin, give full perms to it and nothing happened

For some reason it also struggles to install the launcher at times too, thought that it could go differently if i reinstalled the launcher as well

Where the drive tarkov was installed in got dumpstered and the launcher wouldn't install cause it detected that it was supposed to be on a drive, even tho it's not hooked up and the appdata stuff of BSG is wiped

Yo guys anybody having / ever had issues downloading anything from escapefromtakov.net?
Been trying to download the game on a friend's computer for close to 2h and the interesting part is
Both the download of the launcher and the download of the game (later, when the launcher is installed) download 2-3 files, then just stop receiving packets
I checked firewall, av, exceptions, process monitor for access denied errors on files and so on
can't find anything useful. looks like it just cannot connect to the servers to pull files properly

Well, it would help with software installed on the HDD, because it seems like your HDD is quite slow or maybe even dying, but that shouldn't affect your SSD and therefore not EFT

S.M.A.R.T is just the name for the interface for reading information about hard drives or SSDs. Especially information about the "health condition" of these drives

And there are tools, like CrystalDiskInfo, that can read this information and show them in a list.
