If there's no vpn you might have bad ISP routing from your ISP or on your router DoS protection is enabled, blocking some pings.

I've been having an issue for the past two days where every time I start a raid—whether as PMC or Scav and no matter the map—I always get an error message saying "Lost connection to server." Before this, I was able to play the game without any problems. I haven't made any changes, and from one raid to the next, I suddenly couldn't get in anymore.
I've already tried selecting different servers, but that didn't help either. When I start the game with friends, they get the same error message, but they can get in just fine when playing alone.
I've reset my router, reinstalled the game, flushed my DNS, switched to IPv4, and tried every tip I could find on YouTube, but nothing has worked.
Does anyone have any idea what else I could try or how to fix this?

Like this the past 11 Hours, I was playing last night just fine and then this morning I needed an update, I've restarted everything, cleared cache, checked integrity of files, checked the file directory, disabled every firewall and antivirus protection, ran as administrator and checked the launcher security permissions and eventually resorted to uninstalling and reinstalling everything and completed just about every combination of the above, I've also just tried leaving it for over 3 hours and also then retrying every 5 mins, funnily enough Arena can run just fine, it even reinstalled, updated and works just fine but the base game is still stuck at this, send help or a link but I think I've visited every Reddit and forum post from the last 5 years.

Okay so in short this has worked for me so thank you so much! for anyone interested/having the same issue I had disabled the antivirus but it always turned back on at system reboot so you have to go to through a system registry, basically the first part of the video below doesn't work because it only temporarily disables the antivirus but the second part (permanantly disabling it until I manually re-enable it) has worked. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UCqShJaHK1g

If "nothing happens" when you try to install, and just see the install button again, with no progress after confirming the location to install, choose any folder within C:\Program Files (x86)\ like "EFT" in there and start the launcher as administrator. I believe this is so with India, China and SouthEast Asia in some places.

Is anyone having an issue where when having 3 or more additional mags on their tactical rig and reloading, that it's not cycling through the mags properly?

Example: I have 3 mags in my tactical rig and 1 in the gun.

• When I reload for the 1st time, it puts the now empty mag from the gun in the furthest most right spot in my rig and then takes the furthest most left mag in my rig and loads into gun. This works as expected.
• When I reload for the 2nd time, it puts the now empty mag from the gun in the furthest most LEFT spot in my rig, and this is where the problem starts... Now, when I go to reload the 3rd time, it takes the empty mag that just got put in the furthest most left slot in the gun, rather than taking the mag from the 3rd slot.

To make things more fun/interesting, if I take a 60 round mag and 3 30-round mags and perform the same test, every time I reload, it will only cycle between the 60-round mag and the first 30-round mag from my rig. As soon as the 30-round mag is empty and I reload, rather than using the other two 30-rounders, it throws the 60-rounder back in, thus, only cycling between the 60 and first 30-round mag.

Well, n/m, I think I just figured out the issue.

• If you don't expel 100% of the mag, then it gets put in the first slot in your rig rather than the last. Only if the mag is 100% empty does it stay to the far right, thus, allowing the next full mag in line (from the left side of your tac rig) to be used. Ugh.
• I guess this is where I have to setup/use the controls to select which mag I want to load when my previous mag may still have 5-15 bullets left . Only way to get fresh mag would be to keybind to it, otherwise, it's going load any mags that may still have small amounts of bullets left in them over a fresh mag.
• Would be nice if there was a setting in the game to select whether you want the mechanic to behave this way or not, as I personally would have it 'always' pick a full mag over a partial one.

Whats up guys, Im having a couple new issues since switching to DLSS4 and not sure if that is the cause but that is the only change that has occurred, So far I am having a severe ghosting issue on pmc's only when in game and also sometimes randomly when loading into raids my CPU usage will spike to 126% and sometimes this causes all my background programs to crash, I am running a i9 14900k cpu and 4070TI super along with 64gb of ddr5 5600mhz ram, anyone have any ideas?

Possible fixes are putting the location of your game's files to where the launcher is.
(Like C:/User/Program files x86, then put them all in one place)

The location must be in an SSD, not HDD

If all else fails, it may be a fault on your drivers, maybe try getting new ones or as a last resort, try backing up your files, then reformatting your designated drive

Why is it that when I hit "Forgot your password?" and it sends me a link, the link in the email redircts me to the website where I must login to reset my password? I am unable to login because I forgot my password. This is quite the conundrum

[PVE] I can't seem to complete the Work Smarter quest. It's finished, but the Complete button does nothing. Also, the optional objective is using (what I'm assuming) its identifier rather than the actual text

The quest is maybe bugged, checked mine that is done and i see the same GUID on the optional section.
Just report it to bsg through the launcher with your logs, maybe that could help.

im having a bug with resetting my password, every time i clock the link sent to my email to reset it shows the new/confirm new screen for a fraction of a second then goes to the login screen before i can do anything. i havent played or logged into anything in a good while and when i tried with the correct password it said it was incorrect (im confident it was right)so i tried to reset my password and the bug happens. any help is appreciated. also reddit had a recent post that a few others are having the same issue

i dont fully understand armor. so a slick for example, has front plate but also has a chest plate L3 that you cant change. So when you get shot from the front are the bullets hitting your front plate or the chest plate that is built into the armor? And what about armors that only have front and back plate? They take more damage because they dont have the built in chest plate and the side ones?

Hello, so I am having issues with signing in to the tarkov site to download the game, I have very minimal hours into it, I'm trying to play the game again. But when I go to the website to log in, I forgot my password so I hit "forgot password" and go through my email and hit the button it gives you in the email "reset password". After I hit that button it opens a window on my browser and for a split second it gives me the password reset menu, then resets back to the login screen. Very frustrating, please help!

The password reset has been fixed now you can finally reset your shit guys, but this damn captcha is freaking too outdated to even get right ( the trick to getting the captcha right is to login your account using the web browser) and the game client wont ask for it when you launch. enjoy your weekends errbody

Just recently got my new pc downloaded tarkov for it but I’m constantly getting for PMC and SCAV awaiting server response or timed out can’t seem to fix it at all, it’s on my ssd so no idea

Bought my wife tarkov last night. The launcher has downloaded but the game will NOT install. I have turned off the antivirus software, ran as administrator, rebooted. Reinstalled the launcher. Any tips? I never had this problem.
